Godfather Scale Challenge - 2012 January-June Series

Got the itch to start crawling again! I went out with you guys once up at table rock and once up Bogus Basin road last year. Good times.

So, I have a LCC dig tranny coming for the night crawler. Got a good deal on a used Honcho last night too. The scale crawls sound like a ton of fun.

Zno, do you have an updated link for the rules? Looks like that page might be down on your website?

Thanks Scott for directing that for us.

Our old site crashed a few months ago and we had to rebuild it from scratch so some of the old links we had on here and if you had it saved in your favorites the links probably wont work. However the new site is running really well and we have a lot of versatility on it so keep checking in on there and also check out our Facebook page as we are updating on there as often as we can as well.

Agama as far as camping goes for the Tripod Meadow area we will make sure that we have an area that can take large trucks and trailers. I know so far with just our group here at ZNO we have 4 Trucks and Trailers that will be there camping and we hope to get an area that we can make a Circle and all hang out as a group. I will be going up this weekend to scout it out and Monday I will post the coordinates of where we will be camping for the event.

Mama always said I wasn't the sharpest crayon in the box, but I'm still not seeing it. I see headers for the rules, but they aren't clickable like the stats lines are.

Will this camping event be it for the year? Or will you start a second series afterwards?

There will be a second season starting after the Final. We pretty much run the scalers year round.

Here are the coordinates for the Spring Series Finale Camping trip. They are also posted earlier in this thread with the information on the competition details.

N 44° 18' 5.2641", W 116° 7' 14.2999"

So we are all gearing up at ZNO-RC for this coming weekend to wrap up the 2012 Spring GSC Series. After this last weekend at Axial Fest we need to do some minor repairs and cleaning to make sure we are ready to go for our local weekend of Scale Running.

I'm planing on being there Saturday. We had our baby last Monday on the 18th. Everyone is healthy and doing great. We are getting baby pics done Saturday morning then I'm headed up there. I hope to be there around 1pm... Might end up camping out Sat night since I have to get a late start now. Then I could do the night run with you guys too! "thumbsup"

What's the camping there like? Any pics of the place? I'm guessing it's not a campground?

That is great agama congratulations.

Camping at tripod meadows is pretty nice considering out is not a campground there are a lot of level areas for tents and trailers. We are taking our two trailers and camper up tomorrow to make sure the spot is reserved. I'll take a picture tomorrow and post it for you guys.

Here is the camping area we reserved for the weekend. It is about a 1/2 acre in the trees by Tripod Meadow. There is plenty of room for trailers and tents so bring anything you want to camp in. There is also the creek that runs through the camp area.

It is good we went up yesterday to reserve the spot since today when we went up there were a group of boy scouts in the lower meadow. Lucky timing. :)

For anyone interested we are doing a mexican potluck ssi night before the night run. Anyone can participate just bring a dish to share.
