I couldn't post a pic of my baked potato after seeing those ribs! ;-)

Good news- I FINALLY figured out what I've been doing wrong with the brown rice. I now let it soak for a good 2 hours before cooking, it's comes out perfect every time now.

Damn those scallops look good! I'll have to try the cucumber as well.

Beer was Fat Tire, my go to. Bacon was nothing special, Oscar Meyer hardwood smoked. It was BOGO at the grocery store the other day, free bacon is always good.

I read this is the time to buy scallops because there is an abundance of them now.

I love scallops, probably my favorite sea food... well, king crab legs are pretty damn good but a lot more work!
These were on sale at Whole Paycheck, $10 off per pound.

I read that they are an easily sustainable food... you'd think they'd be a bit cheaper.

And yeah, the cucumber with romaine lettuce packs a hell of a crunch!

Got me some eggs for deviling and a Rib Eye to cook sideways, or vertical, as I like to call it. Pics to follow. fookers.

bigski ...sideways ribeye doesn't sound like it'll work unless it's about 1.5-2" thick with a nice fat strip running down the side.
