Food/Cooking

how do tuna and bacon work together?..i woulda never thought of it

Kickassedly well together. Do it. It's gotta be crunchy, to match the rest of the crunch in the onion and celery and cucumber.

Tuna is the mush.

I almost don't disagree. But I eat it.

Pan seared good tuna steaks are great though.

ya i was thinking the texture/crunch would be nice, as long as the bacon is crispy as it should be..might have to try someday"thumbsup"
i have never had an actual tuna steak but something on my list to try as well

What's to think about?
its just seemed an unusual pairing..seafood and pork ..but im game to try it"thumbsup"..bacon involved so yeah i guess your right:ror:

Mmm...we just took my brother-in-law out to dinner for his birthday...he chose a Cajun restaurant. I had the best étouffée and boiled crawfish!

Nice.

I did chicken wings today.

For twelve of em.

One tablespoon baking powder
One tablespoon of kosher salt
Pepper to taste

Pat dry the wings and coat them in the mixture and rest them in the fridge on an oven rack for at least 8 hours and up to 18. I did like 27 hours cause I went out and ended up hungover... Oven bake on 450 for 20, and flip for a another 15 or 20. Coat em in whatever sauce you want. Great extra crispy baked wings.

Surely you've heard of Bacon wrapped Scallops? You are missing out leaving the pork away from the seafoods.

They were ok. If my grocer had a different variety I wouldn't have picked potato and frickin' onion.

I find the normal grocery places Perogies are ok, but I'm lucky that I live and work in a Polish area. Homemade perogies are far beyond those Mrs. T's options.

I'm sure if you guys look online you can get some authentic ones sent in.

Fact, but in a pinch the frozen ones aren't too bad if ya make em right

I grew up in Parma Ohio. Trust me, nothing beats a authentic pierogi
