Most epic panini ever, y'all have to try this:

Large sliced Italian loaf
Cream cheese on inside of bread slices
Sliced tomato
Fresh basil
Thin sliced honey ham
Thin sliced prosciutto
Provalone cheese

Spread olive oil on the outside of the bread just before it hits your panini maker (I have a cart iron one but a Forman grill works great as well)

And jalapeño chips

I was outside cutting firewood and my wife yelled out the back door asking if I was hungry and she would make me something. I said sure. She asked "what do you want?" I replied " I dont care... a turkey sandwich is fine."

An hour goes by and I forgot all about the food. Getting really hungry, I stopped and went inside to get my sandwich that i figured is sitting on the counter.

Thats when I see this!

She said, "Well, I figured I would use up stuff in the fridge to make way for grocery shopping."

EASILLY a 1/4lb smoked turkey, 8 slices bacon, saute'd onions and fresh jalapeno, a freaking fried egg! For each sandwich!

Finished with melted provelone cheese, chipolte ranch and toasted italian bread!"thumbsup"

I looked up a recipe and made these the other night. 2 hours of prep, rolling dough, cutting rounds, stuffing it, ect. They turned out awesome, and they didn't last long enough to get any pics.

This is the recipe I used with the sauerkraut filling.

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings) Recipe - Allrecipes.com

Looking at that link, it reminded me of my Grand mom that would spend hours making everything from scratch for a nice Sunday dinner. She used the recipe she brought with her from Poland and wouldn't allow anyone to know all of the ingredients that she used. Everything was in her head, nothing was written down.

Tapioca pudding, right?

Nope. Rice pudding.....or, as my German Grandma used to call it Sweet Rice. The recipe is different from different parts of the world, but it's basically the same stuff.

The Mexican version uses nothing but cooked rice, condensed milk, evaporated milk, regular milk and raisins......cooked SLOWLY.

Germans make it with cooked rice, sugar, cream and butter.
