Ext Cab Hilux Honcho w/ Steel Bed

this build is a beast whats the flex like with the new leafs
The new springs are perfect, right now my anti wrap is limiting my rear flex more then my springs. I'm working on a plan for that. As of right now I'm waiting for the bed to come back from my buddy who's welding the Stainless bed skins. Once I get it back I'll start work on the cab repair and post pics"thumbsup"

Updates. I tore apart the body again, this time I'm doing it right. I'm stripping the internal support off smoothing it all for a stronger bond, thencoating everything with an automotive plastic glue. I have also began to rework the bed. I had stainless welded on to skin the bed but it was WAY too heavy and I chopped it all off, on the up side I have come up with a design for a intergrated spare tire mount so it's not all bad. I'll post pics when I'm off my phone

Pictures as promised:mrgreen:

Looks like your off to another good start"thumbsup"

Can't wait to see it back on the rock again!

I've started to repair the cab, I stripped off all the old styrene off where I had the body halfs so I could start fresh and have begun to glue the new stronger reinforcements in.

Got a little more work done, Got the upper half of the cab filled and ready to sand, I sanded off the OEM window mounts that were left over in the rear of the donor cab to allow me more room for support, I also filled the holes where my side body mounts were because I'm going to design something better, currently with the mounts in the bottom of the cab as it rolls or gets hit the cab would spread and caused alot of the problems I had first.

Looks like you really did some reinforcing this time around"thumbsup"

is there anyway, you can make a thread or a video on how to mold plastic together?? I have been meaning to do such a thing forever, but there were no pictures to guide me
