Andy (exesivefire) snapped a few pics of me getting bck to work on the bed..... Yes Virginia there is a bed... or something... Anyway I'll throw up a pic or two of the bed as it sits now. I still need to skin it and add in some chassis mounts and shock mounts..... on to the pics

Sweet little shop you got there, and well equipped I might add!!!

Holy crap, someone allowed you to play with a welder:lmao:

Glad to see its finally getting completed.

Pictures as promised....
The old Rc4wd red springs after about 2 days of real running, I had a serious anti wrap setup to keep them from warping, fixed the twist, but the springs started to fold around the spring blocks. Chino (Dean) came up for Scale nats and after a few convo's we figured out what would work best for me.... Here they are"thumbsup"

Good luck on the new springs Arron. I went through two different sets of rc4wd reds, two different antiwrap bars, stripped the screw hole on one of the rcbros axle mounts. I'm going back to a four link for now. I will keep watching to see how they work. I liked the look of the springs, just seemed to get messed up based on my driving. (Popping wheelies probably didn't help them.)

Just wanted to note, that if anyone else has this issue, just send me an e-mail and I'll get one in the mail for you.

Update:

been busy as of late so I haven't had the time I used to to work on things like I want to, but here and there things are getting worked on

I added some bracing to the bed and started mocking up bed mounts, I tore the body down to just a shell so I can fix some wiring issues (cut wires and burned LED's) and redo the rear ext cab so that its stronger. I'm trying to figure out what I want to do as for an interior too!

Looking good, nice tube work!

This is definitely one of my favorite build threads, great work!"thumbsup"
Thanks guys!

Looking to get some more work done this weekend and possibly the bed skinned. I have to have a talk with my Welder buddy. I have some scrap stainless lying around, Think that would make for a sweet bed skin"thumbsup"

Awesome build, I really like Toyota Xcab flatbeds, I live near Tellico (Rest in piece) and we used to have allot of them here including my old one. Your tube work is really cool and along with some other builds has inspired me to work on my junk. :lmao:"thumbsup""thumbsup":flipoff:
