Same exact tire and size the blue poison spider wraith comes with but a softer rubber.

Yeti is coming with r35 compound tires? Kind of surprised, the stockers from poison spider did really well for speed and loose dirt, perfect for yeti. My r35's are much better on the rocks but way too soft for high-speed.

That's what tower has as a spec. I think they are to soft too. I think the r35 maxxis would have been a better tire. Stiffer and you see them out in the 1.1 u4 scene.

I wanted to clarify that the Yeti is NOT coming with the stickier R35 compound BFG Krawler tires, it has the RTR compound tires.

It looks like Tower has updated the specs to correct that mis-information.

Hi Guys, I currently have 2 RC trucks, and have a good question. I will run my trucks for 10 mins or so, then take a break, and I always turn the trucks off. Is leaving RC trucks going, a "no-no" ? can you overheat an ESC by doing so ? I'm guessing that if you run your truck, then sit back and relax for 20 mins, this may be putting heat into the truck's electronics perhaps ? ... or am I OK to just leave the truck sitting there in "ready to go " mode ?

thanks for any info.

Looks like the front end is all exo, except knuckles and possibly the shock tower.

edit: yep front body mounts, mount to the new shock tower.

Badger could you confirm the eye to eye on those rear lower links? Not listed in the ole manual. thanks

Thanks for that I'm up at 1am going to work every morning. It's Friday my brain needs rest! That sentence is not correct. Nice catch for being white trash.

Why is RCC seemingly starting to be more like other troll-ridden forums on the intertubes?
This is pathetic.

Let's stick to the topic at hand and keep our opinions of other's character at a minimum.

I'll say I'm sorry for snapping back! That's not why I'm here now and left before. I make a comment and a week later I'm a D-bag. Idk sorry again

I can't wait for this thing to come out. Yes I will be getting it lol. hey badger, is the front IFS differential locked or an open diff? I was wondering this the other day, if it's an "open" diff then the use of heavier diff fluid is needed. I'll be upgrading that rear ar60 to full aluminum and replace the bearings were the pinion gear is with bushings, I have seen those bearings blow up under high amounts of power. Thanks, - axial 4x4 crawler

P.S.- For those that aren't talking about the YETI or this thread in general, then please stop. It's so annoying to hear stupid comments on a thread like this, especially one made by badger.

do you people ****ing read before posting? christ almighty...

the front diff is open, as has been stated in probably all of the unnecessary threads that have been started.

Ok calm down man, I don't have time to read through every single page on threads. And thank you, you answered my one and only question...

Is it just me or does anyone else think Axial should've used Badger's video of the Yeti soaring overhead instead of the one they made with the porn music in the background?

For newbies out there ( like me )

it would be great if you can explain what a closed or open differential is.... and why one is better than the other.

As for oil, I wouldn't even have a clue how to open my shocks.

I now have an ECX Torment, and a brand new Thunder Tiger eMTA. I drives these out on the front lawn and haven't put much time on them,
but wonder how often u must change the oil. I guess I'll have to Youtube how to change oil in an RC vehicle shock, hopefully somebody has made a video like that.
