Just double checking if these tamiya tires are legal for the next event (tarmac)? They are not on the list of tire in the OP.

Scores for event #2

I tried something different. I thought it would be interesting to see race wins with all the events as well.
Working on season scores now.

Alright, I think I got Group B series info. all worked out. If I missed something please let me know.

Great time, awesome pics. thanks for all who came out to play in the dark. i had a great time!!!"thumbsup"

Right now the stage course in Morrison is roughly laid out. Looking for some help next sunday morning to get it in running order. If anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated. And if we can get it done soon enough and the snow doesn't go crazy we can even, possibly, use the stage course for the event of the 15th, otherwise it will most likely be a tarmac race. And the stage race will get pushed back to January or February.

I'll make the drive in Sunday (Dec 1st) to help with the stage course. Also Sunday the 8th is the crawl spaces hoon the TTC. I plan on showing up to that, so maybe the course can see some use then too before the 15th.

If one of you boys that is coming in the morning could grab two cans of the Rustoleum vertical spray orange paint I will pay you back!

Also bring your cars and shovels. "thumbsup"

No kidding Kirt! Awesome work today everyone. December 15th is going to be amazing! "thumbsup"

Sooo... snow happened and the Dec 8th TTC is off.

I can still drive out on Sunday to help with the course. Is there snow on the ground at Hoon470? Is it worth it to try to work on the course? If not, I'm going to hang at home. We got about 14in and it's -11 right now =).

I will go take a look tomorrow and see what it looks like. It has been pretty chilly up hear, but we only got a couple inches of snow. Chances are its going to be too snowy to lay down any paint and I don't think we really need to dig much more.

I just looked at the 10 day forecast and it looks like we will get to 50 by the end of next week... So I am not sure. Should we continue with the stage rally or do a tarmac race? I would like to do the stage rally, but if the snow doesn't melt off it will be hard to see all the paint work we did last week.

Next event is this coming sunday, December 15th!

We will be at the HOON470 area. If the snow melts off by sunday this race will be a Point A to B stage race for Group B while the other classes race on the HOON470 dirt track. If the snow does not melt off the next race will be at the HOON470 tarmac track which is located right above the upper parking lot.

Standard start time (10am). I will keep everyone updated as the weather changes this week and we see what we have to work with.

SNOW is a problem? :lmao:do they stop the Swedish rally when they have snow? i thought we talked about doing a snow rally, this might be the chance. i say we do the stage rally even if there is snow. as long as its not to much snow (6" or more). when we do the walk through, we all just pack the snow down and shovel off where is is to much. we can test the stages as we walk it to.

Yeah the issue with the snow is its like little ice crystals. But anyway. The stage rally is still on! The track flooded again so yesterday I modified the stage route and yes it goes through snow. The stage rally will be for the Group B class. The other classes will race on the tarmac track.

Sunday, Race number 3 of the 2014 CRC season will be a four seasons race! The stage rally for Group B starts on tarmac with a little water on it, moves to wet dirt and stone, back to tarmac and then onto wet and snowy dirt, followed by a little dry dirt and back to tarmac. we are looking at 25% tarmac and 75% dirt and snow.

If time/batteries/energy allows we can make this event a double header for the group B cars splitting points between the two events (stage rally and tarmac race). We can discuss this more tomorrow morning.

Hope everyone is ready it should be an epic event! 9:30 registration time, 9:45 stage walk through 10:00am stage start with 30 seconds between each driver ready to go on the line!
