most guys run the tamiya xv-01 chassis, but there are other options out there. Lots of guys also run the vaterra kemora rtr (has it's own class basically). Check out the "rally" sub forum on here.
There are still a couple events this year. You should totally come out.
I got rid of that toyota truggy in order to fund my xv-01. I say sell the sawback and grab an xv-01.

Rally Legends RC has again hooked us up with a great sponsorship package.
Not only did they send out a Ready to Run Lancia Stratos, but they also sent an underbody for it, brushless esc and motor, decal packs, two bodies, t-shirts, two full sets of tires and two full sets of wheels. Lets give it up for all the great sponsors we have for this 3rd season of the Colorado Rally Championship!
Also While we have Spy Helm sunglasses, CRC koozies and lanyards going to the top drivers at every event we are also giving away prizes from RC4WD, The Crawl Space, and Rally Legends RC in a raffle at the end of the season! To be part of the raffle simple race at an event and you get a raffle ticket for the end of the season, the more rallies you attend the more raffle tickets you get!

I'm going to have a group R car next race. I just ordered a used 1/16 traxxas rally (converting my 1/16 revo to rally).
Sorry for the video delay. i have been relocating my office and other honeydew list items be for i can get some time to edit the video. not to mention my son has become a little climbing monkey, every time i get on the computer it takes about 2-3 min before he is literly sanding on my sholders and using my head to stabilize himself and screaming "i wanna help daddy". i have one of the cameras footage chopped but still have two more to go. patience with me please.

The next event of the Championship is quickly approaching! This coming sunday, February 16th we will be racing. Right now the location is still being explored. The original plan was to have a ice race. The track was made and tested only to find out the weather is suppose to be in the 60's this weekend. Other track options are being explored now. Sorry for the delay, but we will be racing this sunday!

Sorry for the delay, but it looks like it will be 70 degrees on sunday. So the race is being moved to HOON470 for a day of racing, same start times and fees apply.
9:00am track opens for practice.
9:30am tech and registration
10:00am race start.
We will be running the track backwards for this race with slight track modification.
