Colorado Rally Championship 2014

I'm ready for this weekends race. "thumbsup"
Will Class 7 be running or did everyone get rid of theirs?

It will be good to have you out.

Class 7 has been a little scarce this season with only 1 and 2 rigs per event. You are welcome to run the rig and maybe a couple more will show up.

Sorry for the delay here is the next race location which will take place this Sunday, March 16th 2014.

1340 W. Evans Unit 2K, Denver.

Track and parking are one in the same. 9:00am course design and practice, 9:30am registration, 10:00am race start

Is this tarmac event?

Bummer about class 7, that was the only one I ever had a chance at winning in. Haha I'll bring the truck though.

Thanks

Yeah it is a tarmac event, but heard some weather is moving in so it might be wet tarmac. :ror: Part of it will most likely be on the dirt too. I am just going off of memory right now as I have not seen the track area in a little while.

Be sure to bring the Class 7, you will have even a better chance at winning the class now. :ror:

Darn, I put all that work into making the wrong wheels fit with the sexy disc brakes. :ror: A smart person would just ditch the discs, but I might have to switch tires.

:ror: Well, that's something I guess. :ror:

The last scheduled date of the 2014 CRC series. We will be making up the Group R race from race #5, raffling off all the prizes from all our great sponsors, giving out trophies to the top 3 in the classes.

Here is how the raffle works:
For every event you attended this season you get a raffle ticket. It doesn't matter how many classes you were in, you just get one raffle ticket per event attended. This "event" does not count for a raffle ticket. All prizes will be raffled off including scale rock crawling parts from RC4WD, tons of rally stuff from Rally Legends RC and The Crawl Space, Spy sunglasses, CRC 2014 Lanyards and koozies plus whatever else I have sitting around. We have tons of great prizes from our sponsors this season and this should be a great event!

We also discussed a new bracket racing system yesterday that I would like to test out. Everyone please bring your Group B cars!

This new racing format will have everyone race every single driver in the class to create a single elimination bracket. Then first will race last, second will race second to last and so on. We are also going to explore a new points system with top qualifying drivers getting bonus points before racing in the single elimination bracket.
