With the new wheelbase it looks like you could do also some hillclimb-runs :lol: - but great and clean work so far.
Btw nice idea to replicate the Lifeguard-truck! Thought about building a icelandic Lifeguard-truck myself, but ended at the point to lengthen the Pajero-body en detail, so keep up this nice work to represent the good guys at the coasts! "thumbsup" "thumbsup"

completely ground to a halt on this - need help mounting the body to the CC01 chassis. Any links to good articles for noobs?
I can just about get the rear mounted using screws, but the front is really tricky. Also the front needs to be removable to get at the battery (the CC01 battery ends up under the front cab

Velcro! Get some heavy duty velcro and fab up your own mounts or use neodymium magnets. On my cc01 jeep I use velcro on the front and the stock mounts for the rear. That way you dont have to streatch the hard body to take it off and on. Works great!

Make the body and bed one solid piece and Hinge mount the front and use short body posts or velcro in the rear. Very simple to do, Use 2 link ends screwed to the body behind the grill where you will not see them once the grill is installed and bolt them to a TLT Link mount bolted to the front of the chassis. I have used it a few times and works flawless.
