cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch

Man that looks good
It sure pulled the motor into the middle more.

I got the Hulksta one coming for mine.
Once it gets here I will post up some pictures

Cant wait to see how that one fits. Since I will be slowly going to berg axles on my pro it was an easy decision to go with this tranny as far as having extra parts to interchange between all my comp cars.

Here's the current set up thats working awesome. With this new tranny and the short front driveshaft I needed a better front shock angle than I could get with the stock chassis, so I added some CF Losi CC shock arms to the front. I couldn't move the chassis any further forward due to the higher outputs of the Bulldog tranny, which I love by the way. It has RCBros gears and Super 300 3rd gear with a 11t pinion. I will be switching soon to a 12t pinion and should have the perfect wheel speed for the Brood Conflux motor. Also went to Silver MRC springs all around and still running 30wt. oil. Our comp last Sunday netted me another first place and is feeling pretty dialed in now.

Grabbed second at our comp yesterday, here's a few pics of the wet and slick rip-rap we comped on...

Nice picture's Chris.

Looks like a fun little spot you got there.

Those must be some serous rocks since I can see a lady in full rock climbing gear in the back ground lol

They do rock climbing training there and also have a rock wall on the side of the building to climb. This spot is close to the UW campus/football stadium in Seattle.

Hey Chris Here is a picture with Hulk's trans in the sucker punch.

Very nice, that fits in there good! "thumbsup"

Yes not to bad at all,
Had to put it a bit of a angle so the motor would clear the upper link mount screw.
But other than that went in very nice.

The trans with the light weight gears was 52grams if you were interested "thumbsup"

Here's some pics from last Saturdays comp, I managed to get 4th despite being sick the last 2 weeks now.

Looking sweet. I'll pm you about those arms soon. I wasn't planning it but the SP build got laid out for pics today to start my thread. Truck is looking real nice man.

Hmmm very interesting
I had thought of putting those on my sucker punch but got side tracked then moved on. lol

can't wait to hear your thoughts after you have taken them for a burn.

Say what? You'll try anything to take me down won't ya? :lmao: What's your width sitting at now? Think I may still have a narrowed front axle laying around.
