Hate when that happens.........
i was just making sure you knew that......;-)
sizzle sizzle goes the castlizzle.
I like the colors! I never should have got rid of my sporty either.. really about to just let go of all my scale stuff and build 2 pros and 1 sporty.
-Ditch the XR mod rear axle and use a SCX10 rear axle and flip the rear wheels
-Different transmission, Bulldog transmission looks pretty appealing due to it using Berg gears
Yeah, it sucked. But I have an extra one!
Not the only thing I sizzled last night. Was trouble shooting my RX and smoked a battery and had the red lead come off. Was really hot, threw it in a lipo sack and put it in the ammo box.
Thanks! I'm really pleased with the colors!
Sporty's and Pro's are tons of fun! But why do you need two Pros? lol
Weight loss:
decase all electronics including bec. Make all wires minimum length
aluminum balls for rod ends
aluminum fasteners
remove 3 of the screws from each bead lock. I've run mine this way for years. Once in a blue moon you may pull a bead but only barely and will not effect your run.
get 1/8th inch uppers
plastic chubs
plastic rear lockouts
Creeper Bob rear titanium axles
That's about all I can think of at the moment but you have assembled a very sweet rig here!"thumbsup" Can't wait to see how you drive it next month!
xr10 pro im working on. and berg pro for fun and different concepts.
I usually take an axe to bad lipos in the driveway. or run a really long lead out from a charger and charge it on nimh setting. :lmao:
I would ditch the xr mod rear and go with a classicut featherlight rear axle or similar style. definitely ti axles and delrin lockouts. chocker collars maybe? 5 bucks a piece... strong.
I have the bulldog trans and I would think its tons lighter and no exposed spur or pinion with lightened berg gears. awesome trans in my hands "thumbsup"
id pick one up with gears included though. unless you have extra gears. I already made that mistake not having extras.
and bec wont fit under servo? little axle shaving action?
Truck came out well, Scott. Only thing missing from that photo was a red one...

I really like mine - I plan on having them in all my comp stuff eventually.
Firing your link guy sounds like the best thing too do. Maybe he was looking at the repeat customer service aspect. Lol. Truck worked well. As with all new builds tuning is necessary.
Drove a pack through it yesterday after some super practice time.
Truck seems really stable and balanced. However, the shocks seem wayyyyy too stiff. I'm thinking I need to not only drop the oil weight but get some lighter springs. Ordered up some RCbro springs and then might track down some other Losi springs LOSB1447 I think.
Ya should have said something yesterday you know
I have both RCB & MRC's springs with me U could have tried Em before U ordered some :lmao:
