Hey, my name is jeremy from new castle, pa. I love r/c, been doing it for 30 years on a very amateur level. Just started learning the real deal with these things. I have a 2wd slash, a 4x4 slash, a team ass b44, and most recently a mad torque 1/8 to learn about rock crawling. Its awesome so far. But I have ?'s like how to hook up dual esc's and why. And how do I hack my gt3b?

Stopping by to say hello, I'm wanting to get into crawling. I have a 5T but I want to give something else a try. What a change from a 62 mph 5T to crawling:lmao: I Was thinking of building a Wraith kit, but don't know which way I want to go.

Justin

Just saying hello as well. Son and I have got into the Wraiths but would also like to get into the comp. crawlers as well. Was wondering if anyone could give me any ball park figures on assembling a compete worthy rig from the ground up. Would preferably like to start w/ a custom chassis/links.

Any help?

Hi...

Sorry for the double post..

hey everyone im Aaron and im from melbourne australia. been a member on here for a while but havent posted much, spent a lot of time admiring what some members have done with their rides and trying to learn as much as i can so i can build my own rig.
im relatively new to rc, ive owned a cheap on road nitro rc and more recently a traxxas slayer.
im in the planning stages of building a 1.9 scaler and as soon as i have some progress ill start my own thread.

Hi, my name is ryan and I live in the real northern california(30 miles south of the oregon border. I have been addicted to scale crawlers for the last 5 years and have built over 35 rigs, I am also addicted to real trucks, I have a wife who allows all the late night build thrash sessions and a four year old son who is also becoming quite the crawler addict(not sure if I should be proud or worried). I hope to post many pics of my current projects and a few of rigs that I have completed. The current projects are: scx10 honcho(wip),an f350 crewcab w/dropbed and hand made bumpers, chassis etc, murdered out,a d90 glenade with opening hood, and rear door, inner fenders, a scx10 with a hilux body and front leaf conversion, cms and rear 3 link, a fully exo'd f350 swb with r1 portals(my "kill mode" crawler/mud truck, and last but not least my wraith witch is a good all round fun crawler and my 4 yr olds dd, will post pics as soon as I figure out how, thanks for havin me, theres some seriously talented builders here and hope to put some of what ive learned here into my future builds.

How the hell are ya! My name is Adam from Hamilton Ohio, live to crawl! Love scale, comp, FOFF, and TTC. Got the normal honcho for scale beef'd up and a berg on a T1E chassis and a nice FOFF that works great! And a Honcho on CRACK with wraith axles and alot of $ in it, but hell its a great hobby thanks guys!"thumbsup"

Well here it goes, Iam from and in Washington State.. Tacoma/Spanaway area...

Have been around Rc's from the early days of the 4wheel drive HotShot's and and the first gen Rc/10 buggies that my dad had.. Fell in love with the sport then and have never really turned away...

Got into wheeling about 6 yrs ago and picked up a cheap unicar cherokeet... Preceeded to destroy that one and the next 3 after it... finally got a offer on my most recent and nicest one that I couldnt turn down since at thought it had a blown engine... In the sale of it, i ended up with a MOA Red cat RS/10... Has some decent mods done to it so far.. Bent lowers, "wing" eleminator block for the upper links, a newer ESC... ect...

Currently working on swapping the steering around to behind the axle... Really like that set up... will post picks of it someday.. Dont have a digi currently...

Some folks from the PNW might know me from a small site up here called NWW...:flipoff: HI...

Thanks for allowing me on here..."thumbsup"

btw, for a actuall wheeler.. its YOTA all the way from now one...

Howdy, I'm new to this forum and new to R/C in general. About a year and a half ago I went r/c rock crawling with a buddy that owns a couple rtr crawlers I think they were the losi night crawlers. Anyway I had a BLAST!!!! So I went out and bought an MOA Axial XR10 a few weeks afterwards. Being a newbie to r/c I was completely unaware of how expensive it is to actually get this bad doggie running??!!

I'm also in the middle of a 1994 4runner 1:1 build, so I'm thoroughly prepared to spend money on quality parts for my hobbies, but I have to admit I was a little shocked when I learned that it might cost about a grand to get this rig rolling!(I mean shit I can build a nice front axle for my Yota for a grand)I really enjoyed putting this r/c together in many ways it mimics putting a real rig together. I'm under the impression that it would cost an additional $500 to $800 to get this thing going. I only have the car and no other electronics for it, no remote or nothing!

Hi, my name is Mike, and I live in Janesville WI. I've been interested in r/c for probably the last 15 years. Don't have a ton of experience with them (previous r/c's were an Ofna Hyper 7, T-Maxx 2.5, Mini-T). I currently have 2 projects I'm working on. The first one I started is a custom Rustler/Jato/Revo truck, and I just started another truck that consists of an rcguy V2.2 chassis and Bully 2.2 axles. I'm not really going the crawler or scaler route, but more of a go anywhere, durable basher.
Once I pick up some more parts I'll probably start a build thread.
