Hello,
My name is Thanh from the Bay area. I just got my first SCX10 and I'm really excited about it. Originally had Nitro trucks years ago and got tired of them. A recent knee injury pushed me to get back in the hobby"thumbsup"
I'm looking forward to learning more about RC Crawling.

Thanks

Hi from San Francisco

Hi all, my name is Jeff. I'm originally from Los Angeles, but relocated to San Francisco about 7 years ago due to work and had left all of my toys at my parent's house in LA. Recently got a place of my own so looking into catching up my last 8 years of RC itch. I fell in love with the Tamiya Wrangler body and the Bruiser chassis 10 years ago after seeing a custom Bruiser Jeep. I had custom built a Bruiser Jeep a few years ago and was fortunate enough to get a hold of one of the original Bruiser Jeep that was around at that time. Here is a pic of both of them.

I'm still a newb on rc crawling, so hope you guys don't mind me asking lots of questions. Thanks.

Jeff

Newbie to crawling, but NOT RC

I have been in the RC industry for many years through the 70's and 80's but only planes and helos.

I am now looking at 4x4 and crawlers.

My 11 year old daughter is interested so we will have more to do together.

Like many folks here, 'been into RC forever, but just recently caught the crawler bug. I built a Creeper & just started running it. I'm beginning to see the beauty in these things. Slow? Yes. But, being able to run almost anywhere & have fun is worth a lot!

Noobie checking in! Located in Maui, Hawaii.

I too just renewed my interest in RC's.

I've always wanted to get a tamiya bruiser but could never afford it.

Now I'm just blown away on how much kits are out there and how affordable they are.

Within a week, I've purchased 2 honchos and 2 ax-10..All used and most of them already modified.

Now to start lurking and learn a thing or 2.

Well, I figured it was about time to post on the forums. I got into RC about 6 months ago and got straight into crawling. Started with a Losi Night Crawler. Made a few simple mods to it i learned from a friend and got third in sportsman class at a local comp. I've since bought an Axial Honcho kit that I'm halfway through building. Anyway, been browsing the forums for while and figured it was time to participate.
Cheers!
