Name is BobD.

Born and raised in boulder colorado.

im a single balding 25 year old with 2 cats, a fishtank, and a fistfull of bad habits.

just got my first crawler yesterday. takin it to the hills today.

Hi All!!!
I currently race 1/8 buggies/nitro.
I'm looking into purchasing an 1/18 rock crawler to play around at home.
I searched around and saw the Losi and LRP 1/18 rock crawlers.
Are there any other around?
What should i look for?
What things wear out on these cars?
I love the looks on the Losi but i don't want to get into inch screw system.
I already have my tools which are metric and want to stick with them.
Does the Losi crawler use the same inch screw system as their other products?

My name's Cliff Josey and I live in Medford Oregon.

I raced RC when I was 15 and now I'm back in 20 years later. I got into on-road, but the local track closed. Now I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the new Losi 2.2 when it comes out for messing around indoors with my kids. After that, playing at the track when they don't need me to marshall. :-P

Hey all,

My name is dominic and i'm kind-of-new guy here..

I've been lurking on this site for a few years now. I had a tlt-1, a hi-lift that i 4-linked unsuccessfully then sold, and a huge assortment of normal r/c's over the last decade or so. All i have now is two slashes and an scx-10 that is still in the box... Just planning out the electronics. Don't want to build it yet because i don't want to have it sit here in front of me with no where to go

I'm not very new to 1:1 wheeling though, i've been beating the hell out of an fj cruiser for the last couple of years. When i'm done with college and i have a decent job, it will be receiving a SAS. IFS has got to go!

Another new guy.

Hi Carl from Springfield,Mass. I own a Traxxas Stampede VXL and a Axial ARTR. Its cold here. The jobless rate increases every day. Waiting for my bailout(yeah right). So far I've been highly attracted to your site. There is alot of good info and helpful people. Keep up the good job. Speaking of jobs, I will become a member as soon as I get a job. Thanks again.

Ive been in and out of every type of rc over the years from carpet oval to nitro 1/8 buggies and even had a clod and txt-1 back in high school. Went into the hobby shop after being out of the hobby for a couple of years and boy have things changed I was just supposed to be looking and walked out with a losi mrc instead. Just want to say thanks in advance for all the great info on your site and cant wait to get to know you.

Howard Orangeville ont Canada.
still a foot deep in white #$%^$@# but at least 2 feet melted last week.
(actually the crawler track at the lhs is almost bare) but theres still the freeze yer fingers to the bone factor...
Im a crawler newb but not an R/C newb.
been in offroad for 18 years or so and micro RS4's indoors in the winter used to do planes and quickie 500 pylon racing that was a blast.
Now im thrown do the depths of depression reading here that the Losi 1/10 crawler is now been pushed back to late MAY for release.....
i really want one but thats part way into our short season so im thinking Kyosho or Venom..... or maybe ????.
I have read the losi thread and its good they are getting it right BUT march was ok i could get it and have it reddy to rock in a day or two but waiting till may is hard to bear...

hey guys! i am a noob if that isnt already apparent. i am not new to the RC world just new to the crawler world. i have nitro MTs and i would like to have a crawler to play with and make my own.

When I'm not crawling (or wrenching on my crawler), I'm a freelance photographer.
