Attn: NEWBIES POST HERE<<<<<<

Hey whats up everyone. My name is Jon, i'm from Regina, SK, canada. I picked up the RTR ax-10 a couple months back. After breakin a few parts here and there I started on the whole upgrade thing. I'm new to the whole electric RC thing but not totally new to RC (have a cpl nitro vehicles.) So far I love the site its full of knowledge and friendly, helpful people. I look forward to chatting and dealing with all of you. CHEERS

Newbee is undecided

Hello and thanks for this cool crawler site. I have learned a lot already.

My name is Russ aka (russtick1) I have a highly modified axial, a Wheely King and a frankensteins monster in progress.

I live on the southern Oregon coast. This place is crawler heaven. I constructed a dirt course in the woods with pylons. Near the race track there is also a technical course for testing my crawler skills.

I would like to purchase a larger pro crawler to possible compete with, and have narrowed it down to just three!

INTEGY - XTM - G-MADE

I would love any input as to the pros and cons of these models. "thumbsup"

Thanks and see ya at the track!

Hello. Its been a few years since I built a clod stick and traded it off for a wreck zuk. Finally gettin back into it. Started a maxx crawler I never finished and gettin ready to order the ax-10 when I saw the new venom creeper. Now I dont know what to do. I'll probably never compete but I'm pretty rough on my toys so The ax-10's aftermarket support is pushing me that way, however the creeper has the cool factor with the selectable diffs. I'm a big fan of the 1:1's I have a yota, zuk, and workin on my second zuk with toy running gear.

It says newbies post here, so here I go.
I picked up an E-maxx cheap and want to make a solid axle crawler from it.
I'm still learning
I.m leaning twards custom 4 link
We shall see

Well ive been lurking for awhile but figured id finally make a post.

Im Jeremy...active duty military stationed at Ft. Meade, MD.

My current crawler is an AX-10 but I have a few other rcs."thumbsup"

Hey guys, posting to do my part here.

Im new to crawling..been into r/c since 83(before th rc10)

Mostly into racing, started 10th scale , done 1/8th scale racing for the last 6 years.
Im an Ex Hobby store owner and track operator..

My current rig is a DMG on Berg axles.

I'm Josiah, I have been dabbling in RC for a while and just got a job at a hobby store. While brushing up on the latest products i found RC Crawling. Being a fan of full size crawling but not having the money i am very interested in the RC version.

Well guess since i'm new here i should do my part. My name is Bryan (aka Bubba) and im a crawler newbie. I have been in rc hobby since 86. My first cars were the Hornet and the orignal Rc-10. I have had a lot since than like the Royal Ripper, Yokomo yz-10, traxxas stampeed, e-maxx, t-maxx, hpi rs4 pro with 2speed tranny and a wickedly modified motor (dang fast car). Currently have Assoicated 18t lightly modified, and my Axial AX10.

Integy Super Class Monster Crawler - PICS -

WANTED!

Close up pictures of a completed "Integy Super Class Monster Crawler"

I just splurged on this kit and found out I am completely on my own for assembly. I've built a lot of models but there are some real head scratchers with this assembly. I searched the net and cannot seem to find any help with the details.

Anybody have some close up pics or diagrams? anything!

Thanks

Hello-

My name is Scott and I'm a noob. My first crawler was a Losi mrc about 2 months ago. Now I'm totally hooked on crawling. I have an Axial artr on order and now I want the Losi 1/10 crawler coming out this spring. This was supposed to be a cheap alternative to motorcross racing....NOT!

Hello all. Love thie site "thumbsup"

I'm new to crawling. I have been racing dirtoval in Oshkosh, WI for 5 years now. I have a CustomWorks GBX sprint and a Stampede. I just purchaced a Axial ARTR a month ago. I have changed it to a X-trail chassis but that's about it so far.

Thanks again for this sweet site.

Mitch

Hi guys

I just got my tamiya hilux yesterday. I love the site so far, lots of good tech and tips.

I live up in Canada Eh. Vancouver BC

Newb here. Just got rid of my 1:1 scale rig crawler, tow rig, and trailer. Used that to pay off all the credit cards I used to buy/build all that stuff, so I am back to square one. Thought I would get into RC Crawling now thinking it was cheaper. Yeah right!!!

I am in east central Illinois, just miles from Jtec racing facility. They do not have a rock course as of yet, but they are promising one.

I planned on buying a ax-10 kit, then spending 200$ more to make it like I wanted. Then I found the Venom creeper which was everything that I wanted in the ax-10 kit. THEN, I found the Losi Comp crawler (good thing I paid off the credit cards).

Waiting on more info on the Losi. Definately going to go with it, but I didn't want to spend 1000$ on my first rig. Being that I would not have to modify it much after it was done is a plus, but still expensive at first.

Hello...

I'm Chris and I am just getting into this branch of the RC world. I have dabbeled in the Heli and Plane work as well as some surface stuff like the T-10, Tmaxx and an 1/8 scale OFNA Ultra Rally car. And yes as a true geek I still have all of my RC stuff in the hanger. I just need another place to throw my hard earned money and this Crawling thing fits right in with my two full size Jeep YJ's.
I'm going to start out with the Berg enroute 2.2 w/o motors or radio. I'm going to do some reading here and learn as much as I can b4 asking repetive questions. Thanks in advance for the info. :)
