A Remedy found...

The foam setup is a little tricky due to the wheel spacers being set higher in the wheel to accommodate for the loaded dice weights. I run the CI 5.5 foams and cut a section out from the center so it's a snug fit against the spacers and rings. If they are too tight it distorts the foam and if they are too loose they will just roll off the rings on sidehills. After the first one it's really pretty easy. Just a little more time to set up than normal wheels."thumbsup"

Like all DLUX parts it takes some effort to make it right,,
but when you get it right it is as perfect as it can get..."thumbsup"

A little, World's, update..

The Remedy was on point and working Great!

After the first 3 course's ran(5, 6, and 1) I had 3 finished course's.

Then to 2 and 3. Easily the harshest of the day.

2 was ruff.. Average, was getting to gate 4.
So I figured what the heck, mize well try and make some of these gates! Well, I made it to gate 4.. Lol..

Course 3 was going greater! Till I started to slide going thru gate 3 and tried going from dig to 4wd. Tried, being the key word..
In my excitement, I went right passed 4wd and hit burn.. Double gate!!!! Oh No!!!!
Then to gate 4, which was a taker..
After that, things went smoothly and I got up to 7, but no points to take it.

I don't think anyone finished this course, but I think if I had gate 3 to do over, it was a great course and I could of made it to the end! Or atleast to 9.. Lol..

Course 4 was clutch, to get in the finals..
Ppl are finishing and after walking the course, it was go time!
A few tries at gate 1 and off we go.. Gate 4 was tricky as well.. (I hate to say it) I think between the heat and the rocks, the BC's weren't working so well, at this point in the 118° sun. :/
Then gate 6 happened. Typical drop down, with a boundary at the bottom.
I dropped down and flopped over. Next thing I realize, my esc's are beeping.. Uh oh.. WTF!?

Well, that ended my run and chances of being in the finals.. :'(

Getting back to the 5th D tent, I looked and realized one of my rx plugs was out of place on my rx??? Hmm..

The plug, came out of the rx and plugged back in, a pin over... CRAZY!!!

All in all.. A great day, with a Awesome group of RC nut jobs!

I snagged 14th place in Pro!

I've always felt like drive time was the best for a win and I haven't had Any, lately..

So next year, I'm quitting my job a few weeks before World's and just driving! Lol...

Huge Thanks to my sponsors!
JRH/HH for all the Powah! And even the shirt off his back! (I'll post a pic later. The new shirt design is saaweeet! Look for them on the HH site soon, if not already.. )
BDN/BmachineRC for the Amazing Remedy chassis! (Krawler Kev made the top 5 with his) congrats Kev.. Eh.. ;)
Robbob for electronics trays, wheels, and custom CF parts.
PURP for just simply keeping my spirits up!

New parts and updates coming as soon as time/family/work allows.
Better start getting ready for next year!

Troy, you never know..... somethin was going on.... my front pinion started to spin near the end of course 1 and i didnt notice until i started course 3, someone or something was out there messin with our stuff........ conspiracy oooooooooooo. (Is it october yet?)

Now that I think of it, I'm kinda bothered by the idea, that you would think that At All!

World's just isn't about who wins. It's the class of ppl that are at the comp, as well! World class!
It's a place where like minded ppl get together and love what they are doing.
We are happy for the guy that wins and by the end of the weekend, we all leave with new friends and a stronger bond with the friends we made in previous years!

No one is there to get a better spot by screwing there fellow crawler!

We are here to see where we stand. See what we can learn from our fellow's and to better ourselves...

Hmmmmm... Maybe them little green lizard's, Curt!
They are space men!

That's where them crop circles came from! No roads in or out... Hmmmmm....

Lmfao!!!!

This guy that posts that madness. It cracks me up. I pulled your esc plug Troy. Because you know how I roll. I want to thank you sincerely for attempts ( barbaric at times) to keep my rigs running. Your a good friend and my scores would have been even worst If you weren't there. I know you didn't get the finish you wanted but you drove well. Thanks again Troy.

Ahhhh, looks better already! (Most things do, when you get rid of the junk)..

Sorry sloski, I still like ya, just too fun to make fun.

I also came close to getting banned for preferring non 8* set-ups. Sloski is great guy but can be a little sensitive.:ror:

On second thought, I'm not sure I was accepted back into the "sell to" circle.

Since changing to OFNA shafts, I haven't needed anything else."thumbsup"
