I wake up for sarcasm bud, did I miss an opertinity? Oh, I'm slow. I just figured " practice " would get a "pre running "joke so I got the ball rolling for you. I think you know me as a pretty humble guy. I could " pre run" there ( or anywhere) and still have to ask where gate 2 is. Ha! I am curios if my accent is gonna throw our Canadian buds off. I've been working on using all the letters in words since BG.

The Nat's location is BANANA'S!!

I got the opportunity to visit the Nat's location and comp with Boston Crawler's this past weekend for some "pre-running" of the location.
I'm Dreaming about getting back there in September!
From the drive to location to bein on location. It's Amazing and I'm Stoked about getting back there!
Lots of jagged, course, mono rock. Which also varies from section to section, to smooth/round, grippy sections..

Favorite thought and hope to get my feet on it.. We joked about getting a boat and having the finals course on "Final's Island" ......

When can we expect some information on Nats?

Specifically I would like to know if we are doing the "wait list", what the turnout is expected to be, how many super courses there are expected to be, judge spots filled? etc,.

I would like to start making plans, if I am going to go and having to do that at the last minute makes it that much harder.

It depends. .......


on the number of drivers, judges, and volunteers. I will do as much as time, circumstances and manpower permits.

I understand about details at the comp but do you know now if youre doing a wait list?

When will you open ticket sales so we get a general idea of how many people will be going? Also, the same question about judges?

Hopefully you can see I am not trying to hassle you. Its 2.5 months away and I am assuming there are still rooms in hotels and cheaper airfare. I am hoping that I could plan now rather than later and save the headache and cash that waiting may bring.

The amount of drivers if any of Wait Listed Drivers depends on the amount of drivers the judges can support.

EXAMPLE: If we only have 8 Judges, and 75 drivers accept invites there probably won't be any wait listed drivers given invites

Some tickets will start going on sale this week.

Unless there are dramatic differences in the sign ups in the classes of previous years the format and itineraries should remain very similar.

I have no plan to change the traditional formats unless the sign ups dictate the changes.

NOTE: We are not behind previous years schedules. The states names are due on JULY 1st, and invites don't go out until the 1st week in July. Usually week give invitees 2 weeks to respond before invites start being dropped. The earliest any Wait List invites will be issued will be the end of July.

Talked to BC Brian, RIcrawler and other members of the Boston crew this last weekend at the NENQ and I must say they sound very dedicated and not afraid of the work that it will take to make this years nationals top flight. I was very impressed and thankful to hear all the ideas and info they had to share. Thanks a lot guys I'm looking forward to what you have in store for everyone. "thumbsup"
