The scoring system isn't breaking ties correctly.

The following spots all need switched around.

23/24
38/39
44/45
48/49
53/54/55/56
57/58

Could you please explain it to those of us who are not in the know, what exactly is wrong with the way the scored are tied incorrectly.

I tried to go with who of the tie won more often and could not see it and I dont see that time was used to be sure. I need edumacating.

Here are the USRCCA rules on tie scores.

3.3 - Tie Scores:
o 3.3.1 - Nationals Style: In the event of a tie score the competitor with the lowest score on the final course run is
considered the winner. If both competitors are also tied on the final course then the second to the last course run
will be used, and so on.

So for instance Spot #23 and 24 tied with 140 points, the sheet shows Crawl Assassin in 23rd and Redlinerob in 24th, however Redlinerob got a 28 on course #5 and Crawl Assassin got a 38.

#44 and #45 tied overall, tied on course #5, tied on course #4, but #45 had a better score on course #3 so he should have won the tiebreaker.

Correct. This is a known issue and ties have to be broken manually in the short term. There just simply wasn't time to finish writing the logic for this before the event. It's a simple and effective scheme, but a very tough one to program. It'll be completed and ties properly broken by the end of the week.

Hard courses mixed in with easier, Nice!!

I'M NOT A COMPETATOR,(WISH I HAD THE RESOURSES) BUT THEY SURE DID HAVE SOME RADICAL COURSES AND FOR THE TIME ALLOTED TO EACH PERSON WAS SMALL FOR THE COURSES CHALLENGES. IT WAS A VERY INTENSE TIME FOR MANY OF THE MEN AND WOMEN DRIVERS8)"thumbsup". AS A SPECTATOR ONLY AND AN RCC MEMBER THE ONLY THING I THOUGHT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE WOULD HAVE BEEN NAME TAGS, (SORRY IF IT SOUNDS CHILDISH) BUT I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO KNOWN WHO THE DRIVERS WERE AND THOSE WHICH I'VE HAD THE PLEASURE TO HAVE TALKED TO HERE ON THE FORUMS. THAT BEING SAID IT WAS A PERFECT PLACE, PERFECT WEATHER, AND FRIENDLY CROWD, THANKS TO ALL. I'M GETTIN' A LATE START OUT TODAY.
