Well after over 2 years with the old Delrin BeetleJuice V4 I wanted to move to lighter weight (looking for the 4.5-5lb mark not super light) and having seen and being able to purchase the new T1E Sniper chassis from Nick/BTF at Battle Grounds this past weekend I had found the new direction for Nationals and beyond.

As it sits now:

I've been compiling a random selection of parts for the rebuild plans and parts for the rebuild:
T1E Sniper CF Chassis
T1E CF Wheels
Switching FX-R's to Sidewinder Micros (just to try this fad out)
Switching 8711 to 8711HV (might as well swap the spare in while its all apart)
Kyosho 3.7" Velvet Shocks - SuperShafty.com rod cap mod - w/ custom lathe work
CKRC Rear Axle Tubes & DLux 7075 Aluminum Shafts (SO BEEFY)
klabeaume Custom lathed front tubes
SDS Super 300's...original set since release old but just scored rebuilds to revive them
CKRC/Berg 3rd Gears
Gunnar pins in berg gears and front axle hexes
DLux Servo mount and no-slop king pin bushings
DLux Knuckle Weights
Rowdy Racing Elec/Batt mount (no clue what ends up on it yet)
Krawler Konceptz Skins
Axial C-hubs
VP Berg Knuckles - 12mm bearing mod (JeepinDoug)
LHS Bearings
Fastener Express Aluminum, RC4WD Titanium and Black Oxide hardware throughout
Titanium lower and Aluminum upper links
Br00d Apocalypse Type S-HHK 35 Turn Motors
Shaved/ground cases - milled motor plate
Frsky 4PK compatible RX - decased

Thanks guys, I hope to get this done pretty quick, just put in some orders with McMaster (due to arrive today) and Fastener Express to get the roller going, should get some progress with this 5 day weekend I have "thumbsup"

Ben/Mike - get your bergs going, stop playing with those plastic EggShell10's.

Will keep an eye on this build thread"thumbsup"

Soon you'll be making some panels for this Sniper "thumbsup"

Awesome! Let me know if I can help "thumbsup"

Yeah for sure, you being involved on this Sniper really helped seal the deal, not to mention Nick being a stand up vendor and luckily having brought some to Battle Grounds.

Any thoughts on best upper link start location?

You know I thought the same dang thing when I was hanging out in your guys' tent on Shafty day. We certainly spoke...but dang if I failed to get you name so I could thank you in person for the lathe work on those tubes.

Thanks man! Let me get back to you on that. I'll be running in the next day or two "thumbsup"

Well I guess new parts ordered. Since I was contemplating new rear axles because my Axlemasters were bent (been on the truck since the day he released them, so still a good product IMO)...I figured it was time to pull the trigger on these:

With my slightly weighted Khaos/SLW combo I was sitting 5lbs 13oz. Heavy little piggy, but having not really done anything to the truck really I shouldn't complain.

Hope to keep this new rebuild more active with changes and set up because I need to work on getting the truck and my driving better for Nationals.
