Yeti XL Solid Front Axle by Helios RC

Well I for one know that my simple conversion holds up to 6s and even takes enough punishment to destroy a 1/5 Scale servo and not have it affect the C- hubs at all... and it's a modification that most people with an average skill level can complete for around $10

I also wanted to just add in the side note that straight axle is way more dependable then the compounding moving parts of an independent front end the only issue I've had thus far is snapping pins and I'm looking into a company so I can help supply undreakable pins

I know this is a long dead thread. But I got a line on a bunch of yeti solid axle parts. I was wondering if anyone had a link to the 3d print files or a way of getting a set of front steering parts for the yeti xl front solid axle conversion?

Nick (Helios RC) passed away several years ago and the old Shapeways marketplace was the only way to get Yeti XL solid axle conversions. When Shapeways went bankrupt, everything from their marketplace was purged.

Ah shoot, that makes me sad. He seems like he was a smart and good person. And had alot of good ideas. I guess I'll see if I can't dig deeper into the internet. I just bought an yeti xl/ar60 xl housing.
