Yeti Jr. upgrades

Well not long after locking the front, I broke the front CVD shaft... And its a steel shaft from GPM Racing.

I bought a new set of GPM and the new axial aluminium front shafts for the original CVDs.

I think the front end is a lost cause. You strip the plastic open diff or you break the CVDs with a locker...

We'll see

How were the stock electronics in the maverick? Good, bad tell me what u think

I just got it and haven’t taken it out of the box yet lol! I am just preparing for the inevitable..... I will let you know tomorrow when I try it. I might just keep it stock after adding up the$ it would have in it when I could have another 1/10 scale.

Yeah but they are part of the original aluminium CVD
Only the shaft will be steel.

The GPM is all steel, shaft, joint and hex.

Anyway both are on the way, I just hope they get to Canada before my vacation trip. The kid will throw a fit if the truck is not functional...

Shapeways is taking a huge cut. Contact Anthony Chwalek on Facebook, he will give you a much better price.
Tell him I sent you guys :)
I have been doing marketing for him since I got my tray 2 years ago.
Still no cut for me :(

Does Anthony do different colors, I would want mine in a color other than black when I get one

I asked because they are the new electronics and I wondered if they would be better

I have no idea (sorry) because this is my first vehicle below 1/10 scale. I thought it would be fun to cruise around.

That’s all right, Have you read through this thread?, if so you would see why I’m asking because the rr and the tt electronics suck
Anyways if you want a better charger this might help, I might be wrong but I’ll leave that up to you. This is for the Mavericks stock battery⤵️

Get a skyrc charger
Either the S65 or D100
They are the best quality / price ratio in the market

Thanks bud- I appreciate the link for the charger.
I have read it takes a long time to charge via USB.
I have this charger :

The other thing I read about the Yeti Jr Can Am was the controller can only be used with the electronics on the vehicle- not cool imo.

The rest of the thread is about Yeti Jr. upgrades from what I read.
Not the Can Am so much as the Yeti Jr that looks like a mini Yeti.

I was thinking if this thing breaks quickly or is super lame I might just go nuts with a micro X , 0808 castle motor etc. but now I think if it’s not that great my nephew would be super happy with it as a first RC (I already got the steel drive shaft with the vehicle)

That charger you posted would be nice for him...... we shall see.

Thanks again
