ty sir. I appreciate the info
I just got The wraith and my question is can I run a nimh battery and then run a lipo without changing any settings? Thx Robb
Any pics on how to set up CMS. I bought vanquish CMS kit and drag link but having issues how to install it.
Of course you can run both but check your ESC because if it s the stock one, AE-2, it s factory setup on lipo cutoff so to chnge that, you need castle link
Thanks!! I've switched to a 2s lipo and will never go back! This hauls as now!
New problem tho, steering is acting wierd. Are these servos junk or just the plastic arm stripping out?

This maybe a bit of a noob question. I just in stalled a Castle BEC on my wraith just like your first diagram. I set the bec to 7.4v wich is the high end of voltage for my Hitec servo. It steers awesome now! I notice several people recomend wiring the bec directly to the servo so that the reciever dosen't get the bigger voltage. My rig works good so far but now im worried ill fry my reciever. Any advise on this? Its a 3 channel Flysky reciever, 3s, mmp, brushed motor if that helps. Thanks in advance!
I have the stock motor and ESC. I have ran a lot of 6 cell NIMH battery on my Wraith with no issues. Today I ran a 2S 30C 5000MAH Lipo on my Wraith. Same Lipo that I use on my Blitz and Slash but after 10 minutes, the Wraith started smoking so I pulled the battery off as quick as I can. What could be wrong? What do I need to do now.
By the way, I took the same battery and tried it on my Slash and it ran another maybe 5 minutes.
Sorry if I missed where this was covered. I'm trying to figure what hd gears to get. Im thinking of under gears in rear but not sure if I should run them in the front too. I would like to get opinions from people who ran them and get the pros and cons of running under gears in the rear only.
got a week and several packs through mine and finally killed the stock servo, they do not like weighted sticky tires. now motor is going out, any suggestions
Different ratios front and rear can aid in reducing torque twist, help reduce your turning radius, and help with steep climbs.
Negatives, it introduces a small amount of bind into the drivetrain. This isn't a huge deal really. When you do overdrive front and underdrive rear it becomes more noticeable.
