Wraith Beginners Guide

You could attempt to adapt the slipper from the SC10. You might be better off getting different parts though. I am doing a similar mod to mine with some Slash parts. Check out the last page of my thread right now (page 105 I think).

do you know any brands that make 32p for the wraith, cant find any. Hate bein a noob lol

actually i picked up a pinion too and i believe it is going to be to small for the pro4 5mm shaft. robinson makes a .8 mod 5mm would that work?

stupid place mixed up my order and now my motor wont be here until next week, got the gears today lol

Two in line, one dead center under...picture crawling on a pole and tugging weight. do i loose power to the motors. or burn up the throttle control. etc.

Isn't mod .8 the same as 32p

ordered up some new 32p gears so shouldnt be a prob anymore.

Just wondering if you know if i can run 4ws with my flysky gt3b 3channel.
I love your rig with it but my remote is much cheaper lol

Yup, just found that too. I'm used to the Berg gears which appear to be 48p but are actually metric which is NOT the same.

So I stand corrected.

When I was looking for a pinion for my pro 4 and super shafty/spur setup I thought I could only find a mod .8 but wasn't sure. To much info to remember

Harley what lower rod ends do you use on the power stroke shocks?

Not sure what capabilities are in that radio. I really only work with Futaba radios.

hmm well im just wondering if your remote 3rd channel is default connected to the steering. otherwise i have a servo reverse and on off switch. sorry for annoying you.....im sure

My radio allows for different mixing as well as bias changing.

This is a different radio but it's nearly the same programming.

I've got a couple of questions.

1.) How to set up a slipper for the Wraith. I'm running the RRP Wraith 48p Gen3 Slipper/Spur. Stock gearing. I've only set up slippers for racing Short Course, but wondering how much slip I should have for this application? Right now i've got it locked all the way down, then backed off 1/4 turn. It breaks all 4 tires loose (PL Flat Irons) on concrete on a full throttle start with Timbuk2 W.E. Should I loosen it to save on other drive components?

2.) Axle slop. Think i got this because my slipper seems tight. I know the right answer is better lockers, which I plan on getting when I'm ready to order stuff again. Is there anything I can do right now to reduce the axle slop? Maybe fill the locker with epoxy or gorilla glue? Next order will have universals and lockers in it, so not really worried if I can get them back out or not.

Any help is appreciated.
