What the newest cheap servo hotness?

I will say the best $100. I've spent in RC......I had it for the yeti, but ended up in my Bully..... The long arm is sooo sweet

The solar D772 was probably the biggest disappointment of RC parts I've ever purchased. Maybe the two I bought were from a bad batch.

I bought five of them at one time.
All have been great.
The Hobbywing 1080 ESC on 7.4 wakes them up for sure.

The first one just died. The second one was just nutless. I bumped it up to 7.4 and it still sucked. Then it died after a few packs.

I use a power HD 23kg idk what some of you are doing to break a titanium servo but great bang for your buck if you keep breaking it maybe you need a real crawler

I need torque but more importantly it needs more speed I hate slow steering. On a budget any recommendations without extra BEC?

EDIT: Just gonna get a HEYOK no brainer BEC to see if it improves things. Then if it doesn't I'll be set for the good stuff.

Take a look at what dspro sells, cant remember the name but specs were impressive for an alum case servo 300+ in/oz if i recall for 50.00 and another for 35.00
Do you have any personal experience with those?

Any word from Mr.John when the new batch of v4s will be ready? He told me a month or so and its going on 2. Said he would e-mail me when they're ready. Just wondering if you've heard anything as I havent heard back yet from him and I'm down to using my last spare WORKING servo a Hitec 645-MG out of a Rustler.
To tell you the truth, its really not that bad, very smooth analog systematics, but it is very slow and it does get hot. Torque is on the low side too. Not complaining or rushing just kind concerned how mich longer this is going to last... thanks!

John is having some health issues so I wouldn't expect to have any new servos from him anytime soon. Hopefully things are going well with him though.
