And I usually coil it up using a much smaller/tighter coil diameter.
what's the purpose of using a heat gun ?

They are legit, I have 2. Ones in my yeti XL and other was in my lnc while my 7950 was being fixed. Now its a spare if I ever need it. For $27 bucks, its hard to beat.
