What is the draw to vanquish products?

Not a fanboi either, just relating my first-hand experience.

If you've ever seen one perform on the rocks you'd know. My brother has a pro and an ultra, loves the pro. The rest of the group has TRXs and SCX10-iis. No doubt the "stock" vanquish kicked our butts on the rocks. Started a wave of everyone upgrading and adding brass just to keep up with the stock vanquishes...
Now the rest of the group (myself included) has either flat rails or are heavily invested in brass. Yeah, my brother has added some brass rings to the wheels and some scalerfab bumpers but really hasn't gone crazy with mods and still does everything the rest of the group can do.

I did, finally, have a chance to run the ultra on the rocks myself a few weeks back. Had radio or ESC issues in the parking lot so I opted to abuse his RC for the day. Nice rig it was, but I'm not going to buy one anytime soon.

Put the vanquish frame rails on a stock 10.2 and it'll perform the same. All VP did was make the geometry better. The rest of the bits are nice but most of it doesn't do much for performance as it does durability.

Slap some toyzuki V1 rails with a forward motor mount, 2.5 t case and brass knuckles on a 10.2 and you'll make the VP rig look silly.

Because, when you’ve got your rig all vanquished out, the panties just start dropping!

In every hobby, you get "those" people who want to impress people more with the price they paid for the truck, rather than how it performs. This gives quality brands like VP a bad name.

The fit and finish is truly second to none. For years I dabbled in a VP part here and there. Last year I finally bit the bullet and built a 410 Ultra. It was such a pleasure assembly that kit.

And why not? there's always room for more expensive, quality parts. Atleast they are not expensive and crappy like that 4 letter brand that starts with a C . Vanquish puts out nice stuff that people want. Love their axle housings. I did, however, had a terrible experience with one of their "Full Floating Heavy Duty Locker" . Did a rig for a costumer, I loved VP, ordered one of those for scx10. I tried to mount it and never got to rotate smooth like the stock ones. The costumer researched a bit that Axial driveshafts don't have the right tolerances and ordered the VP ones. They worked slightly better but still not smooth. Customer got mad at me until today

I have a set of their hex drivers. Absolutely awesome and worth the money.

Way better in hand than the ProTek Tru-torq sl and MIP’s.

My only wish is that they would sell a handle by itself.

I also have their stub axles for the Trx4. Zero complaints and high quality. Servo horns are the same way.

Vanquish is the highest quality stuff we have in the hobby. I used to be one of the biggest Vanquish haters and I turned into a fan. Are any Vanquish parts necessary? Nope. Can you get cheaper? Yep. Most won't be as good as Vanquish. And their customer service is great.

OMG! It's Jato!

I have managed a machine shop and have purchased custom machined products from some fine machine shops. Many of these exclusively serving the aerospace sector. I can say without a doubt Vanquish can hang with any of them when it comes to material, quality of work, and the overall fit an finish. They aren't cheap, but honestly their prices are reasonable for what they put out. If and I mean a BIG IF you do have an issue, Vanquish will stand behind it and take great care of you. I have seen many of these RC machine shops come and go over the years, Vanquish continues to still be here for good reason.

Machining and quality of the products. You can crawl with any vehicle and some people see it is a “status” but it is nice to have a rig that is rock solid and there. Nothing to worry about

Brining this to the top! Can’t find confirmation on “made in USA” for Vanquish wheels. Are the wheels made is USA/Sac? Are some parts made outside of CA? Thanks!

I dont see it listed on their site but I believe they have said that everything injection molded (plastic) is from Taiwan and everything machined is out of Sacramento.

It would be great if vanquish would comment.

I understand that about the plastic as well…, but there may be differences where made for metal parts which honestly I don’t want to say what I believe (cause I have no confirmation) with the metal parts out of respect for the company. This is why I’m putting it out there to see if I could get a confirmation because it does matter.

I’m sure a great majority of us would agree that it’s better to spend $500 to support US manufacturing versus not. Thanks.

If its aluminum and from VP, its almost certainly us Aluminum machined in Cali at the VP facility.

The steel items and plastics are out of the Taiwan facility.
That is from Josh out of many of his videos where he is asked and answers these questions.

Thanks! I would assume all the aluminum stuff like the wheels was made strictly in California, but I just wasn’t sure everything aluminum was made, like all the parts aluminum.

I’ll post up answer if I get it directly from them.

They have been around along time. The fit and finish of their stuff is second to none. There are a lot of knock offs out there but, it’s not the same. A big one for me is they are local to me too. They have only been doing kits for a short time but, second to none. Lots of after market support too. If you knew there are a lot of options out there. Vanquish wheels are some of the best.
