H10, What's VP teasing?

Thanks again for the pics PileDriver!

If anyone needs these here are the pics of the H10 cage and axles out of the manual

Maybe they need to sell more RTRs before they release the manuals to the public to prevent us from making our own kit versions. Hahah

So it does appear that a full cage can be ordered now. There was some mix up with one of the cage parts sets, it was supposed to have the sliders but didn't. That has been fixed now.

To get to a complete cage you'll need: cage sides, cage parts 1 and 2, battery tray and fuel cell, interior and driver and the H10 body set. You'll also need screws and velcro straps for the battery.

I'm pretty set on using the H10 axles and started to put together all the parts needed for axles and the full cage. I didn't even get up to a complete list before realizing I was at about $370. I have a feeling the RTR would be a cheaper way to accomplish this, I just cant stand ripping out the RTR electronics.

So I'm shelving that idea and waiting on the kit which should be a much more reasonable price, fingers crossed. Or if they release complete H10 axle kits that may help too.

I imagine VP might hold back manuals to prevent competitors from getting a free look, they'd actually need to buy one. But who knows.

Now MEUS released aluminum body panels for the H10 and they are $100 cheaper than the H-Tech aluminum body panel kit. MEUS is offering more colors too.

I like that. Still holding out for a kit though.

Still no kits but RPP just put up a listing for complete H10 axle sets which is nice:

Saw those too and damn $240 for two axles. Even more reason to wait for the kit. I mean you could buy the axles and the $400 Meus cage, but then you still need a lot more components.

You're not wrong its likely that even the RTR beats this price/value wise. Usually these kits are a good way to get a gear/axle set for an aluminum version of the axle.
It looks like a complete front axle would be about $133 not including fasteners and bearings if pieced together separately so I dont think $139.99 is too far off for an individual part. But yeah if you're on a budget its probably best to keep on waiting.

Funny I priced out a front axle for the rear op my h10 earlier this week. Maybe I'll just pick one of these up. I prefer my stance over the h10, but I prefer technical rock crawling. Thinking the rear steer could make it more interesting

Price is in line with the other axles. The h10 axle includes the servo mount and steering links.
