What did you do today?

I got out for a MTB ride for the first time in months. Weather looked ominous the whole day, but it never rained, and the trails were bone dry. It did keep the temps down though, which was nice. It was good to get out, it's been way too long.

I'm with you man. It's been about 3 months since I rode my Mtn bike. It felt good to be out there again.

Spending all day and night working. A 16 hour day today and I'll be at 80 hours for the week. So ready to just go home and go to bed and send some time on the couch maybe tomorrow after helping a buddy move. Jealous of thoses who are out riding or playing with their tiny toy trucks.

Went n got our new baby today. Shes so cute. Shes goina b bigger than we expected lol. Wen we went n looked at her n put a deposit on her, she lookd like she was goina b a english or american bulldog. I think shes more of a red nose pit.

Her name is Sage, she'll be 6wks old monday

Yep, durok... the cold front came thru here around 5am. Could've used some more rain but the temp change was very welcome. Today it was time to fire up the crock-pot and have a decent meal for a change... beef-stew and garlic bread. Really hit the spot!

Hmmm... I shoulda come knockin' 'round your door for a hand-out!

:lmao:

Headin' out for a crawl now - conditions couldn't be better:

Rotated the five 33s on my Yoder and changed the oil/filter. Fixed the leaking topper, and put the door panels on after a yard DIY tint job. Troubleshot my quad air horn and found the compressor bad. Damned smartphoners while driving are getting a break this time.

From a road trip a few weeks ago. She’s still kicking at a young 156k miles. Hoping to get a pic of 156789 on this trip.

I caught a pic of my bimmer at 123,456... unfortunately I didn't plan ahead and reset the trip meter at the appropriate time or I could have had 789 at the end, lol

LOL. I missed the 100k mark by 4 miles back in 2010. 4 miles past the state line, too. Would’ve been OCD epic. :(

@ durok... I always make more than enough and you're always welcome!

Awesome, thanks! "thumbsup"

I broke 60, 000 miles on my little 2010 Honda Fit Sport on my way to my crawlin' buddy's house on Friday... other than yellowing headlight plastics, she still looks nearly new!

1 week into repairs on slab leak #2.

This one is BAD. Last one they bypassed ar garage wall. No big deal.
This time its under the kitchen floor and soaked the walls. MY ENTIRE KITCHEN IS GUTTED.
getting the whole house rerouted and thankbgod insurance is covering it because they agree going into the slab is bad on a 2 story house built in 1985.

Family is doing ok but eating out every meal starts to suck. Again on insurance dime but still... Sucks. Especially with a 1 year old.
Bleh.

Oh also I need to rebuild the carb on the stingray. 4 year old gas turns to varnish and doesnt get through the carb too good. Secondary bowl is all gummed up. I found this out when I pushed it out of the garage to make room for the rerout of plumbing.then then couldnt start her to get her back inside. I feel horrible she spent the last 4 nighta out in the cold by herself. At least I have a cover and parked the wifes pilot behind her so nobody can drag her away on a flatbed in the middle of the night.

So...
Long story short... I have been learning how to rebuild a demon 750 double pumper carb today lol

Visited the largest meteor crater on the planet.

About 40 miles East of Flagstaff.

The visitor center’s museum had some cool displays and artifacts on top of the awesomeness of the crater itself. 👍🏼

Looks like a fun filled day dez.

Well, if yall remember back last month, i had a break down in the concrete truck. After 5 hrs of sittin along side the road with half a yd of concrete, i finally got saved.

Well, we got it back last week. They said it was a fuse. Im guessin it was blown off to one side cause i pulled them all n never found one blown. Anyway, ive been in the drum the past 3 days chippin away at that half a yd. Went pretty good the first day, chipped almost half of it out. Second day, i hit a hard spot n it wouldnt bust to easy. Alot of dust n tater chip size pieces.

But today, i finally got past the hard section n got it all busted out. The big piece on top of the pile kept gettin stuck wen it was tryin to come out the back. After 20 min of pryin, we finally got it out

That looks like a cool place to visit! I've never had the chance to see a crater in person. Hopefully I'll get a chance to check that out someday!:)

I remember thinking to myself when you posted that, that it's gonna suck for who ever has to clean that out.:ror:

Sorry to hear that it was you!

I finally took time to clean up my bench! I added a 5-tier shelf I picked up at Menards to the right of the bench to give me a place to park some of my rigs and also a place to put my AE scale garage. I added a couple LED cabinet lights under the shelves to illuminate my rigs.

I also needed a place for my drill press. I got tired of not having a place for it and moving it to the workbench every time I needed to use it.

Now that it is clean, I have room to build my next project...the Axial Capra!;-)
