What did you do today?

You missed one on this page. Too many others throughout this forum that are still here but thank you @ Tanis for at least trying to do what you can. I stopped reporting because so much spam was simply not being deleted/ cleaned up.

Anyway... user-name CLG at the top of this page is another one. Been here along with the link for almost a year.

Rebuilt my EDC. Owning it for several years, the fact that I can take it apart to clean/regrease/thread lock to renew it has been great as this has been the 3rd time. Literally the best box cutter one can have because it has a knife blade on the other end.

Anyone whose interested in getting one, take it apart and thread lock all of the screws including the ones for the belt clip.

I picked up Kona Remote160 ebike. I haven't rode a mtn bike in 6-8 yrs. Work has taken over my life with no free time. Hopefully that will change with the next mail count. I would love a lil more time with the wife and my girls (also some free time for me). Or D'Amazon could burn and rot. Lol!!!

Woke up, went to work at the office, hit the gym for an hour or so after then went home and had dinner, still gotta take the garbage out then go to bed.

That is a useful looking tool there. I have had so many shitty box cutters it is shameful to think about

Will definitely be getting an e-bike one of these years. Feels inevitable. For now I just keep cranking...analog

I have those days. Getting in some bench time tonight. Need to get progress on a build

Ran the trail with my bro and a friend Sunday. Haven't ran a truck in over a month due to work. It was great and 3 hrs of fun.
Rode the ebike yesterday. It was awesome. Like I haven't been off the bike for 6-8 yrs. First ride on any bike in probably a year. I need to dial the bike in just a lil more.
I get to go back to work today. Yeah!! Not really unless D'Amazon has disappeared from the planet.

I built a micro hill out of particle board I had laying around and vytex cuttings for my wife’s fcx24 and my trx4m. Came out great

Last night I got a wild hair and reassembled my old TCS Eclipse tube chassis. Pondering on electronics to use.

I had the left shelf longways, but I was able to adjust a surround sound speaker that's mounted on the wall outta the way so this display looks a lot better now.

Got to swap out a broken shock/strut on my '07 Tacoma. I've never seen a shock shaft break above the weld! While I had it apart and took a closer look, it looks like I'll be changing the upper ball joint and sway bar links very soon. Hurry up Spring, get here!

Luckily the day that I changed it, it was in the 40's with sun instead of the cold and snow that I usually have here.

Thanks for the info!"thumbsup"

Someday I'll make the move to the Bilstein's. For now it still has the stock SR5 suspension. I do like the ride that the SR5 suspension has, but I love the look of the Bilstein and how beefy they are. My only concern with the upgrade is losing the smooth ride I have now.

This was a pic before the shock fix. The front end was hanging low!

Your truck was torn between being a low rider or a 4x4 [emoji23]

As for ride, as long as you don’t pre-load the spring too much (I prefer a spacer on top of the strut mount for this reason if you’re wanting a lift or level) the ride will be greatly improved

I can personally vouch for improvement with high speed railroad crossings [emoji23]

:lmao: Yeah it kinda reminds me of my old '76 Chevy Silverado. It was stuck in a permanent nose dive like pretty much all 2WD Chevy's!:ror:

I'll keep that in mind about the pre-load. Thanks!"thumbsup"

First coat. Tamiya metallic blue for the first coat, the rest will be brilliant blue. Might back it with gunmetal or black.

^^ you are inspiring me to build a Yota Goro!

Played hockey this morning then ran my TRX4 in the afternoon and shot a bunch of vid for editing. Right now I am going to descend the basement steps and braze some steel.

Been a good day to be alive...

LHS was out of PS black, so I rallied up what I could of leftover paints on my time available to get the job done on my Trailrunner body lol.
