What did you do to your TRX-4 today?

@ sickpuppy I like the second set of wheels best ( the bead-locks) but I have to admit that on that particular rig, the first ones maybe look more at home. Both really compliment that body... lookin' good!

Weathered this hi-lift that's been sitting around forever. Went ahead and made a handle isolator for it too. Came out alright and looks pretty good atop the hood imo.

I like that! The used look is the best. I used my defender stock jack and painted it but it's too clean looking for my rig.

Did a bit of crawling this weekend. This was a fun spot. You'll see what made it so fun in my team Lockedup membership challenge video once they post it.

What about putting a sheet of aluminum or plastic on top of those sliders so you still have electronics trays on the sides?

Thats what im considering, also i want to put one battery or both on the side and put the electronics in the battery mount.

Thanks, Justin! I never liked that jack anywhere on the defender.. finally realized it wasn't the location... it was that it looked too clean lol.

And you know I'm really anxious to hear how the LURC Challenge went!

LoL! I'm going to add some weathering to mine so it'll fit the look of my rig. Still don't know where I want to put it tho.

There's 5 challenges. One is due Thursday. The one I was talking to you about and one other due on the 30th. One on the 6th and my scale video is due on the 13th. Really only have to find music for my video and decide what I'm going with on what I was talking to you about. Super stoked that I got in the running for it. Hope I make it! You guys will have to vote for me once Lockedup starts posting the challenges.

I like your new battery tray. Looks like it was pretty easy to make. How does it affect weight balance and performance of the truck versus the stock battery tray?

How wide is it side to side?

Thank you. Wasn’t to bad to make. I may have to make it from some thicker stock if this one wants to been. I haven’t ran the truck yet at all, but I’d have to assume it’s better than the stock tray since it’s much lower and more forward. And it’s widest point it’s just under 3”.

Why don't you try using Rare Earth ring magnets to attach the body?

Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk

It’s crossed my mind. It’s still an possibility. I’m not always a huge fan of them on certain types of bodies.
