It was a busy weekend of family life this past weekend. So it didn't leave alot of hobby time. We managed to get this roof rack put together and mounted to the boys bronco. Something that hes been wanting to do for a while now.

My own trx4 managed to mount the extra set of wheels and tires together. So least we got something exciting done this weekend.

Removed the current motor and esc as the esc is dying and ordered a Axe 550 combo.

Also started tearing it down to do some setup for the shocks.
It started as a Tactical, but after removing the heavy body, rocksliders and the entire difflock system it feels a bit bouncy with the stock Tactical shocks

Have just started tweaking this thing to my liking. Success of some kind with shut lines, new bumper with a rear to also fit. Other bits to do still

Was going to go to bed. But decided to put together this hot racing cargo net for the boys bronco. When I ordered it from one of the lhs the kid failed to mention it was a kit and not assembled. Whatever, got it done so it can be ready for our first adventure out soon.

I replaced the front bumper on the TRX. Somehow, the aluminum on the left front of the old one fatigued to the point that it cracked off. Thought about leaving it on 'cause it looked pretty cool as "battle damage", but it was extending in to the flat area where my winch is mounted. Anyway, installed a new one. Had to drill new holes to offset the winch behind the stinger as it wouldn't clear when trying to mount to the OE holes. Then, took it out for a shake down. "thumbsup" This rig is a blast on 4S with the Castle Mamba X and the 1800kv Holmes Revolver. Gobs and gobs of torque and wheel speed on demand. Definitely my favorite combo at this point.
