I will check it out after work. Sounds like a handy thing to have. I was looking at the B Link for a while and just wasn't sure which one you was better.

Definitely , works great ...just need an extra channel on radio , with my setup I had 10% drag brake on with one setup and 75% on the other plus with dual rate you can control how much hold you want for each ..so 100% hold to a slow roll etc

Got a fly sky gt5 in and test drove it. I was really surprised how much of a difference it made

I just put my Stampede together and picked up the old TQI controller to test it out. Yep.. I have an extra receiver for my GT5 and it’s going in the Stampede this weekend. Really nice controller

Ok, so the diff skidplates are garbage - at least up front. Totally destroyed it. Any suggestions for a solidly mounted one?

Beefed up the steering servo from the kit 2075 to an Amazon 35kg jobbie and a Castle BEC and Rx cut out to feed the steering 7.4 v, but only the spec’d 6v for the micros

Don’t use them. The plastic is tough and will hold up good. Skid plates will just collect crap and hang up on stuff.
In the real world or on rocks I would consider them.

Brought it back to life! Mostly with spare parts. Needed electronics, driveshafts, and wheels/tires/foams. Just has a hw1080, hh trailmaster 21t, jx servo, and back to the good ole cut canyon trails. Still need to get a battery tray back in it.

This was my first crawler that I upgraded a bit, I haven’t driven it since early last summer so it will be interesting to drive it again see how it does compared to my more recent builds.

Quick parts run down: OD/UD, locked axles, single speed, 45t spur, eBay axle housings, GRC rear shock mounts, Samix high clearance links, brass front diff cover, samix brass knuckles, samix brass chubs, and ssd brass portal covers in front.

Next up is adding a bit of weight, probably a diff cover and portal housing to start.

Was out in the sun/shadow to get a few pictures to try and land on a favorite of these wheels..
I ended up with not beeing able to pick one, so both is staying and I now have to hunt for another set of 2.2 tires that fits.. Or maybe stretch a set of 1.9's?

Preparing for a quick trail run between snow storms. Excepting 10-15cm or more of snow so im trying to get a head start. Don't know if all the power will get the little chevy through all of that possible snow?

Ugh. I was lazy last weekend and didn't unplug/check my TRX4's battery when I was done and now it's toast. I guess I'll take it as a $30 lesson in always taking the batteries out and charging them when I am done.

Installed a HR high clearance steering link, this should seriously be the shape of the stock one. Have some brass hexes enroute, should be here this weekend I imagine. For $6 hard to pass on :) I went with 5mm which were the narrowest I could find as I don't have any need to push the offset.
