What did you do to your TRX-4 today?

Finally has time to get the airbrush out and paint the cab for the new build on my TRX-4. Only the second time I have painted a lexan body and the first time doing multiple colours. Also painted the grill and I am not a fan of the grill stickers Proline supply. This is a cab from a Proline 1978 K-10. Its not perfect but I am happy-ish as it is my first attempt at masking a bodyshell. Learnt a lot too. Windows detailing tomorrow and then final assembly on Saturday.

Looks fantastic so far. Love that color combo too.

After a night in the airing cupboard the paint was hard enough for the cab to rejoin the cage and be mounted on the chassis. Still lots to do but it is now drivable, hopefully Santa will be bringing new wheels and tyres.......

Christmas bonus was healthy this year, treated the TRX-4 to the track kit. Performance wise, tires are still better overall. But these are fun in the snow.

The new TRX 4 build had its first proper run today. 4 hour trail run at Leith Hill in Surrey, UK with the London Scale Trailers, was an excellent day.

Went on vacation to Asheville NC last week with the family. Was an amazing time. The Trx was right at home on those mountain rocks. Finished editing this today.

It was a great vacation! We all had a amazing time. We love the mountains and want to move there sometime in the next few years. The Trx did great on the rocks up there. Hyrax were getting good grip on them. I wish I could've gotten more footage, but my phone was/is jam packed with pics and video from our trip and wouldn't let me shoot anymore

I just ordered a HeyOK & 2290 for my rig, RPP had a 15% coupon and I'd been wanting to buy a nice servo for the truck so figured... might as well go for it. My truck is stock so for now I will probably just run 6v unless it seems too slow. I'll be adding weight in the next series of upgrades but still deciding on what & where it will go.

Got brushless installed and tuned through the castle link best as possible within the confines of the house. Saturday if all goes well a test run outside in the melting slushy snow mild Canadian winter we have been getting. 1/10 MX ESC and HH 3800KV TMPBL motor geared at 45/10 on 3s and single speed conversion done along time ago.

Did you setup auxiliary cable , works fantastic even on a single speed transmission ...can have both rockracer and crawler with two different drag brakes that can be changed on the fly with radio dual rate settings.

No auxiliary set up. I do not think my Spectrum radio has that ability i will look into it for the future.

Just need an open channel for on/off and program the aux cable on ur PC .

Almost finished my first build by adding a winch (headlights to follow), some accessories and changing the Traxxas 5XL-HV and stock motor out for a Hobbywing Axe 2300kv. Will see how she behaves on the crawler course tomorrow.
