What did you do to your SCX24 today?

got a new body mounted and took it out for some crawling after the indoor testing

I bought an SCX Basecamp and a charger an Injora servo and some tools and I have a few batteries to hook my buddy up with so we can crawl together. I also have some other Injora goodies and a servo horn coming for me. Fun stuff.

Sunday was for my buddy, today is for me.
I now have a Carbon Cheat Code V-three, a hardware kit and a ten degree skid freshly ordered. Super stoked.

I finally got my Reefs servo horn and installed it.
Went for a crawl on the rocks and realized I really need to get my rear limiting strap back in, it makes a huge difference, lol. It broke a few days ago and I’m hoping my Cheat Code chassis will get shipped soon (I know Mazz is hella busy right now). So I am on the line, do I want to go through getting the limiting strap set up right before I tear it all down to put it on the new chassis. I need to tear down the rear end so I can put in the UD gears too but do wait for the new chassis to do that too? lol

picked up a basecamp myself as well yesterday!

its #19 on the list of scx24's lol

The Cheat Code came in!
I have everything swapped over and built. Had to go back facing motor which is now in the way of my C-Ten body. That kinda sucks, I am considering just cutting what I need to out of the body so it fits. The only thing stock on my truck now is the links and drive shafts, lol. Besides the body all I need is to get my limiting straps put in.
I have never actually held anything that was three d printing and the pieces that came with the chassis are awesome. I pre-screwed all the holes and never had a problem with a screw.
I took my truck for a little test drive and forgot I had tied the front end up so the drive shaft wouldn’t fall apart again. The rear shocks were completely unlimited and it was crawling over everything with the suspension set up all sorts of funny. I can’t wait to see it with everything set up.

I gave buddy his birthday hook up.
Pretty much everything he needs to get started except for a new servo because my local postal workers decided to toss that package back…

I bought a set of Mazz double bend links. Once I get those on and I get my Injora shipment with my metal front drive shaft the only thing still stock on my truck will be the rear driveshaft. It only took me three months from getting my SCX to having it pretty much full custom, lol.

Finally got to crawl with my buddy and it was everything I thought it could be. He brought over his pretty much stock one twenty four I just bought him and we hit the rocks. I was very impressed with his driving and the truck. He was hitting all sorts of crazy lines. Sorry we had to much fun to take pics, maybe next time.
