Probably Sent Sitting On The Toilet...

Got a Wraith interior to fit in the "Truggy". Installed a dash pad, and some grey upholstery. Also added a couple of "quickie" - fabbed bucket seats.

I found an old Honcho front bumper assembly, so I put it on the Dingo just for an easy change of appearance. It seems like it will work out just fine.

I lovingly beat the piss out of if for 4 hours on top of a mountain and brought it home muddy and all in one piece and set it back on the shelf, ready for next time.

Gotta love a well built rig. "thumbsup" (no current pics, sorry.. I love driving too much to stop and take pictures)

Installed..
AJs Machine ESC mount. To mount Traxxas Slash 4x4 Receiver box.
Installed RC4WD stinger bumper.
Working on a wire tuck.
Received new Savox WP/MG servo.

detailed the trailer somewhat...
and drug it around with the Honcho.

Preparing a new Honcho body
W Dinky interior and WW's driver figure.

once finished... I'll need get busy detailing the chassis

pics just cause

Installed a Fast Eddie bearing in my AS-3 servo. No more play in the output shaft. Yay!
Great upgrade for only $2.

new motor, new shocks, new bearings thanks fast eddie and picked up some marine grease just to make things greasy

Aluminum steering linkage, move battery to front, lowered stock batter tray posts, moved electronics to rear.

working on an alternative "show ~n~ shine" body/detail...

1. fresh Honcho body
2. Dinky scale Interior
3. Wild Willy's driver figure
4. fresh Dinky bedside kit
5. LED Headlamps W fact. buckets
6. eventually new interior wheel wells for the front.

~ in the third picture below... (and showing in the last few) ~
I had to alter the seat slightly to compensate somewhat
for the transmission height/placement.

I used my hobby grade heat gun.
and realized it was more then I wanted.

* so be careful with that heat gun !!
~ a good blow dryer could likely get it done ~

besides the clearance needed for the trans...
I also had to heat the seat to lower the WW's figure.
if that's not done WW's will sit too tall
and his helmet will hit the roof interior.

other options would be to cut for trans. clearance... or raise the body more.
But for me... I wanted the Honcho body as low as I could get it.

oh... and the Dinky interior plastic is fairly soft to cut
easily trimmed with an exacto knife and steady hand.
A light score line and pieces snap off easily with your fingers.

* don't score a line where you don't want a cut !!

I also eliminated the front body posts (thru the body)
utilizing Velcro and a home grown mount.

this will be my bling body set up...
but for normal use...
the older body with the original forward mounting posts
will be the one that gets used and thrashed.

a few pics...
