What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

Finally got a scx10 JKU and have had a blast with it for the last 2 weeks. I work on the road about 6-8 months of the year and stay in a camper most of that time. We found a RC track/hobby shop(439 raceway & hobby) that has full hookup campsites here in TX. It's close to where we are working and I've wheeled my JKU about ever day on their rock crawling course. I'm really impressed with the "out of the box" performance especially with a few tweaks.

I've done some freebie mods; moved the battery over the motor/radio box, moved the esc behind the Trans on the front of the original battery tray, and shortened the bump stops in the factory shocks, removed the rear tire carrier and relocated the spare tire to the rear tub of the Jeep, under the cage.

Here's a quick shot on the crawler course

After probably 12-15 batteries, running a venom lipo 2s 30c 5000mah, I finally broke my first part. I snapped the passenger side c hub.

As you can see, I did try and repair it with some super glue/baking soda and it held for about 5 - 10 mins of wheeling hard. Also, I made a work stand with some spare wood laying around.

So know it's time for some new knuckles, c hubs, and I'm probably gonna go ahead and do a cms kit and some type of upgraded steering links and suspension links. Let's the addiction begin. Lol..

Had someone hit me up about the jevne cms plate working with the vp cms kit. Here are a couple pics of it installed. Where my finger is in the pic I had to trim maybe an 1/8" of the jevne plate. Real easy to trim with sheet metal shears or even a pair or wire cutters. I would test fit after the cms and servo is installed. And see if you will need to trim. Remove bother shock towers makes it easier to install jevne plate.

I just order what you installed plus the 8° knuckles and hubs and VP told me I needed the currie drag link and tie rod setup with the 8° setup. Just and fyi. Also If you run the VP knuckles and hubs you'll need to make sure your wheels will clear. My factory wheels needed to be spaced out so I ordered +13tmm wheel spacers.

Just ordered the Vanquish Axial SCX 3 Link / CMS / Panhard Conversion Kit, like everyone else..lol Looking forward to the chassis mounted servo as it's the first I've ran..

Yeah I ordered some traxxas spacers about two weeks ago from Gyro hobbies for the 8 degree knuckles.

While waiting on my Vanquish stage 1 kit to come in, me and my wife decided to make some scaled accessories.
