What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

Modified the transmission plate on my Super Shafty Transmission to accept a brushed motor. Installed the 2nd Super Shaft Transmission. Installed a 10T/32P pinion on the motor. Motor is a Axial 55T sealed can. Temporary motor for now. Installed a Savox SW-0231MG Waterproof Servo. Mirrored the upper steering link to accept the servo. Installed Traxxas Slash Receiver box. Extended BEC wires to reach new box. Installed JCAD Upper Rear Link Risers.

Dealing with axialfest damage. One dead not so waterproof brxl, and stripped out tranny mount screws. Installing Tekin rs/roc412 combo and hb tranny case.

finished painting the alternative Honcho body.

I realize it's the same color...
but I like silver.

The older RTR body will likely get paint applied on the exterior.
and most probably of a different color.

The new body's rear cage filler assembly is it's original silver.
Think I prefer it black against the silver.

What is your opinion ?

I like the black bed better. And for the new body did you put a piece in behind the spare? Or did you just not trim that off the dinky kit? I kinda wish I would have left mine kinda like a full tailgate.

I painted my first Dinky bed kit silver (rear gate area 2).
then later cut it off/out, cuz it looked bulged slightly by the spare tire.
'least I thought it did

This newer Dinky Rr fender kit seems to show less bulge at that gate.
or the 2nd go around netted a better fit !?

Yeah I left it in place and unpainted...
so I could decide later.

Repainted the truggy, all red...will post updates. My foray into styrene work let go a little so once repaired I re-sprayed it.

Let me know what you think of it, I have the A063, really like it.

It bolted up perfectly on the chassis. It looks very cool. I mounted a temporary body on it for now until the new one shows up. Gotta get some accessories to put on it, then run it. Hopefully it will survive some barrel rolling down hills for a while before it starts bending.

Mounted up some fresh rubber on Vanquish rims.

Need to do my lights and finalize body mounts

I didn't do shit with it today because these clowns in the "club" I belong to never mentioned where the meet was. So now I get to look at all these cool pics they posted on fb and then think about the good time I missed out on. Thanks dicks!

A failed styrene job lead to a re-paint! Finished the lighting, added tube bumper and driving light block outs.

Built a beer cooler. It's a first attempt, but I'll take it. After all, it's supposed to look beat to hell, lol. Tall boy cans to follow...
Update(last pic)...Decided that it looked a bit plane, so I put the vinyl cutter to use. Cooler v 2.0/Beer Can v 1.0 :)

installed the headlamp buckets... LED's later

and also installed some new inner fenders up front.

pics... as it should be ;-)

couple more things I need to do...

1. install some LED light buckets to the front bumper

2. purchase/install winch up front. (faux or real, still undecided)

Picked up two new KMS winches and got one installed for the rear. Fried my 3racing up at Axialfest so I'm going to use it as a fake and wire up the other in the front."thumbsup"
