Vanquish Products Hurtz Shifter Dig

i run a hitec 225mg......i had to make a small adapter on the bracket to clear the puller motor........i would like the micro mount but i assume it will hit a puller can too?

The new micro bracket mounts in the same location, but the dimensions on the 225MG and the 5245MG compared to say a 645MG may keep it from interfering with a Puller.

645MG: 1.59 x 0.77 x 1.48 / 40.60 x 19.80 x 37.30mm

225MG and 5245MG: 1.27 x 0.66 x 1.21 / 32.40 x 16.80 x 30.80mm

It'll be close I think, but you could probably shim the servo out just a tick if need be, without throwing off the angle of the link in relation to the shifter arm.

I've been studying a few builds trying to get an idea on this...I picked up a 10T Puller that I want to run with this dig.

Hats off to Vanquish, it even works where it shouldn't! Great dig.

I'm currently using a Futaba T6EX 2.4ghz and it only has 2 pos. switches.
TO have all 3 positions on my DNA, I set my servo's neutral point in 4wd and use the dual rate switch for freewheel or lock. I think because of the driveshaft sliding in and out that when on uphills the servo hums a bit from the driveshaft "pushing back in" a bit when loaded up. Happens flexed and bound too.
I'd think the VP being stationary would avoid this issue.
Will I run in to any problems like that doing the same setup with the VP dig?

I finally got around to installing your dig into my crawler, and I have to say, that was by far the easiest setup I have ever encountered with a dig unit. Fit and finish are awesome and I didn't even have to adjust the EPA's. Awesome product and it looks great in my new Incision chassis. Great work guys!

Front Dog Set Screw to Long

Just recieved my shiny new Hurtz shifter, looks great. BUT, i am installing it and the set screw for the front dog seems to be to long. housing will only go on where it is open and hits when you try to spin the ouputs. set screw measures 5mm long. is this right or is it to long, seems to be.

Please advise,

jeff

Yeah, it is too long...I just torqued it down, then took a grinder wheel to it to take it down to flush with the dog. It is ok. There is still plenty of set screw left to get into with your 1.3mm hex head.

As expected from all the good words on here about VP....received a call this morning. Sure enough they are to long. Their sending me out a replacment today. Only thing that sucks is not being able to play with it on this long holiday weekend . But thank you all the same Vanquish.

Just got my DIG in yesterday. Wow, smart choice on my part, this thing is very nice. 2 gripes though. The set screw for the front dogs in my kit was too long and hit the housing. Not a big problem as I just ground it down, but seems like a pretty easy thing to get right. The other is the front dogs don't fit on the output shaft very good. It's pretty loose and is easy to get cocked. Took a few minutes to get it set up straight and to where the dogs were engaged good. Other than that, good to go. All my friends will be drooling over this thing when they see it in person.

When I engage the dig when my front 2 wheels are leaned on something, my front wheels will spin a little and then the motor will only spin with no tires spinning. What do you think the problem is? Is it b/c I have the stock AX10 motor in, or is it something else?

Do you have a slipper clutch on the spur gear? See if your pinion and spur gear is spinning when your front wheels are not.

I no it's been asked before, and I apologize for a repeat, but is there any way to get these made with 6mm outputs for direct fit for Revo shafts? There are some of us large scale and shaft super guys that would like this variation.

I'm looking into this dig but will it work in my swx chassis in my ax-10 ? Already have the spectrum 3chanell radio for it
Is will it work with a swx and axial tranny??
Thank you steven:)
