Thanks Steve!

I have had my eye on The Scale Shop chassis for a while now and thought it would be cool to build a 1.9 SCX based off that chassis as it has some cool upgrades over the stock SCX chassis.

I ordered the aluminum chassis and painted it black.

And a pic with the cross braces and smooth skid installed.

I'm really pleased with the aluminum one I recently picked up for my 1.9er, so much that I'm considering another for the 2.2. It's much more rigid than the stock Axial chassis and I personally prefer the raised bumper mount location, very nice job on these SKSS!"thumbsup"

what screws do you suggest for the lower links. i feel like i read somewhere 34mm?

I believe that's correct. 34mm m3 isn't the easiest to
Come by. I went with a wraith lower link set screw (14mm?) and backed it with a panhead or socket 16-20mm

I know I asked this question via messenger, however... could you post the availability of your rails, and the estimated ETA for them to be in stock, for everyone to know. I know as soon as it is available, I am getting a set....

Well you guys have been waiting for them and there finally here! The all new V3 SCXHR chassis rails!
Updated now with more shock mounts, more upper links mounts, and more bumper mounting options!

Awesome work! V3 fixes my only real complaint about V2 which was the raised bumper location over stock, other wise I'm a happy customer! "thumbsup"

I Just ordered my version 3 (steel) frame rails. I have a brand new smooth skid and a new build waiting on this bad boy. Awesome design just became more awesome! Thanks Corey"thumbsup"

I have the Vanquish titanium link kit with the two bent links. Any issues with using this chassis with those?

shouldnt be an issue. if you use the upper link raised mounts (stock is also included) you may need to lengthen the upper links to keep a good pinion angle."thumbsup"
