TRX4 wheel fitment info

Does anyone know if the SSD portal covers will work with PROLINE flatline or denali wheels?

I have the wheels, and want the SSD covers, If not I will buy SSD wheels as well but hoping to spend that cash on something else if possible.."thumbsup"

Thanks

I have the proline faultline wheels and the inner beadlock ring needs to be enlarged to gain clearance to the portal covers. Also I installed MIP 4mm axle extensions for additional clearance.

so with the rc4wd hex adapters i used the wheels fit but when i tighten the nut down its bottoms out on the threads and the wheels are a little loose. Like a couple thousandths of an inch of movement at most probably but its there.....do I run a washer behind the nut?! Do i need wider hexes? I didn't see anyone mention this particular issue with the rc4wd steel wagon wheels.

I noticed when I took the pin drive adapter off to put the hex adapter on that the hex one is narrower than the pin drive.....when i put the wheels on and look at it you can see the end of the threads are right at the face of the wheel

I noticed certain nuts go down further on the stub than other as well as using washers. Or you could take a flare nut make the smallest counter sink you can and re thread it. Havent tried it but I think it would work.

I ended up replacing the stock Traxxas wheel hexes with rc4wd part #Z-S1844 and everything is perfect now. I was under the assumption that I could just change from pin drive to hex drive on the back of the wheel and use the stock hexes but they were too narrow

with rc4wd wagon wheels? look very closely at the wheel face around the nut...wiggle it slowly and look closely....it very well may be loose and maybe you didn't notice....it's a very minute amount of looseness....probably a couple thousandths of an inch of movement or so but it's there and I can't imagine I'm the only one......unless I got something that was machined improperly or something strange like that....

also, I did not have to drill out the center hole at all for the wheel to fit on all the way like a few other people said they had to so there's that too.......

DO NOT fit TRX-4 stock. Pretty serious rub on both front and back.

Some brass Treal +3mm hexes were perfect. Stance is very sexy, just a hair wider than the stock tires sat.

Editting in some nonsense so googlers might stumble across this post:

They fit perfectly and the bead locks are easy to assemble. Measures 121 * 45 mm
You just have to widen the outer hole rim 1 mm, from 5mm to 6mm

Without reading through stuff I honestly do not understand. I am a tad more confused now.
Is there a definitive list of direct fits? Maybe a list which requires a hub add on.

I am after some direct fit 2.2 wheels and tyres that I can buy without going too wrong. I do not run a body so no rubbing issues.
