The Greatest mod

Barharbor, do you have part numbers and/or a thread to make that HD CVS? I take it that's it working out for you? I think a lot of us moving up in power are gonna need to make those.

I'm ordering a TP-Power 8S 2200kv motor so i figured that I'll make HD CVS's

The Center diff mod is the best thing....ever.... no joke !!!
I'll have some insane footage on my channel soon !!!

I'll post up the info tonight "thumbsup"

Are we talking about something like a Nero?

I honestly think tougher... The Nero is overweight and unbalanced IMO. Simplicity wins in my book and after adding a CD the YXL it's a all around winner"thumbsup" plus it's got a damn straight axle

I agree it's overweight, the exo skeleton ,central chassis spine and lay down shocks probably have something to do with that.
I've been so occupied with my YXL's lately, but when I throw the Nero out into the sh#t it is amazing.
I'll try to keep up with what you're doing.

Sense you've got two you definitely should try out a CD mod"thumbsup" It really allows the yxl to handle way more power and abuse

I completely forgot to check my parts bin for my 1/8th buggy. I have a full center diff for it, I need to get a second pair of mounting brackets but gonna play around with it and try to make it work with the holes already in place! I need to get a second chassis so I can mock everything up! Very excited to say the least.

So to raise another dead thread... What was the centre diff used in this build?
