Team Associated teasing a scale crawler!

I'll run be running the stock body, assuming that I stick with the RTR or if the kit version comes with the body.

I'm less concerned about matching a 1:1 body as long as the body looks nice and not designed by "Homer Simpson". If it does match a 1:1, it's a bonus.

The TRX4 sport body was really pushing it for me, and is only saved by the plastic details and the expedition rack being included. Otherwise, I'd have sold/junked it right away.

^^This.

I haven't decided to 'junk it' yet. Close! ;-)

:lmao:

I like the flat-clear overcoat up-thread. I may consider doing that, or even an overall external job, let the gray show through from trail hash.

Well, I gotta agree and say it's closest to a first-gen Ranger King cab, IMHO...

Guys come on, its so generic it can be any of these. General shape is Ranger, top half of the cab is Ranger but all the detail in the bed sides and front fenders are Dodge minus the giant flares. Tailgate is a Chevy/Ranger.

EDIT: nah the tailgate is Ranger too lol

Kit confirmed.

Wonder what the price will be :?:

If they knock off 149 or even 99 for the body and electronics that would make this a sweet deal.

Edit* it’s $239.99 "thumbsup"

They include optional links for 313mm, 305mm and 299mm wheelbases which is kind of nice.

I'll be preordering the kit for sure!

Sounds like this box transforms into a scale dumpster. Pretty sure I saw a photo of one built recently but I think it’s this one in back

Well RIP to the Axial RAW kit. $199 for plastic junk, $40 more and you get steel links, steel gears, all aluminum shocks...

Glad to see the kit has been revealed so soon at a great price! Now I’m not sure if I want the kit or RTR. I would rather have the kit and build it my way, but man I really like the scale garage box!
