Team Associated teasing a scale crawler!

I just got mine, but I can't seem to find the power switch on the truck. The moment I pop the battery in it starts up. Do they come with one on the receiver or is this standard?

If there’s a switch it would be on the ESC, but not all ESCs use switches.

I got the kit so I’m not sure what the RTR has.

Yep, no switch. I got a HW1080 for the power switch and jack-rabbit reverse, but switching motor leads fixed the latter. So its still in the box.

So I got to maiden my Enduro yesterday. It lasted all of 30 seconds before the axle housing broke. One of the screws that holds in the bearings broke out of it's threaded hole

Unfortunately the hard axle housings weren't available when I ordered my kit, but I've got them on the way now. What a disappointing first day. Good thing I took a couple more rigs with me. Anyway, here she is...

I trimmed the Lexan bedliner for the utility bed, sanded the edges smooth - need to put the body post holes and mounting screw holes in it tomorrow and test fit it.

I'll be painting it soon... and am still thinking about how to paint up the RTR cab body.

It's really thin, might not last that long - so I may be doing something beater-ish...

So far, keeping it very light - the only added weight is Element 6mm steel hexes, and SSD steel wheels.

Instead of a steel front bumper I got from RC4WD, I decided to stick with soze's idea of the GMade BOM plastic bumper - it really matches the utility bed well - tubes are looking the same diameter...

Entirely up to you. I just trimmed mine a bit so that it wouldn't get caught.

Eventually though... I tumbled off cliffs enough for the one of them to fall right off! :shock:

Perfect break separation! :lmao:

Needless to say, rather than running with one fender gone and one fender on... I cut the other one off.

Did a bit of both on mine. Completely cut of the tears and trimmed the fronts.

Was in a bit of a rush and need to go back with some sandpaper to clean the fronts up.

Needless to say, rather than running with one fender gone and one fender on... I cut the other one off.

One thing I like to do around areas like that is pickup some Shoe Goo and sticky drywall tape.

- Apply tape
- Paint over it with the Shoe Goo

Makes a body pretty well bullet proof.

hahaha.... ok think i may just trim a tiny bit off as im super noobish. im afraid to do to much. just dont really like the sound of the plastic rubbing. i dont feel like it hindered the performance really.. thanks again!

I use Duratrax lexan scissors. I have had the set for years and they work really well. I would assume any scissors would work but I prefer the angled pair personally.

I use a set of Kyosho KRF curved lexan cutting scissors that I've had for over 30 years. That's not a typo, I purchased them to cut out bodies for my Kyosho Ultima back in 1989. I just used them 2 nights ago to trim out the rear bumper on my Enduro Trailwalker. Once I decide on what size of tire to run I'll trim my fenders.
