Tanis's Axial SWX build Ol' Reliable

geomitery

Wow look at that geomitery "thumbsup" no wonder it hooks up so well.
I've been lookin for a set of those bent links where did you get those at ?
I thought you said you were going to try the eritex dig ?

what a hunk of poop, cant figure out for the life of me why you keep beating me! haha Nice work buddy. Some good driving this weekend to take the win too! ycc yo
I think it was your sweet body that held you down last weekend......:mrgreen:

how are you liking your steering link set up??...i pretty much have the same set up as yours on my SWX build and I'm wondering if it's better to go with a long or short link from my servo to the steering arm....thanks for any help
I rarely get my tierod in the rocks with the CPE high-clearance unit. I like the short arm with my servo offset, as it keeps it out of the rocks more than if I ran one to the other side, and I still get all the steering I can get with it"thumbsup"

curious as to why you eliminated the bta setup?
Because I went back to shocks in the front;-)

I stole the links from another kit I have laying around and modded them to fit:).
I bought the Eritex dig, but I was needing money to go to Donner so I sold it before I even installed it. My buddy has one and we've put a ton of work into getting it to work decently....I won't run one, and I'll leave it at that. My DNA works almost the same as an electronic dig, simply everytime no matter what or how bound up.

Inside joke for Pat....(it will be great....for you:mrgreen:)

Problem is, it didn't..........for me. Il ne fixin that issue when I get back from the beach. You'll have to come hang, I won't put you to work hahaha

My bad :D Do you like the parallel upper links.
Yes I do like them, but it's a combination of everything working together that makes the rig work so well for me"thumbsup". Lower link placement, upper link placement, shock position and angle, shock topmount tuning, foams, weight, gearing and electronics combination, all work to compliment each other to bring out the performance8)
