Student Debt Forgiveness

Don't want to deal with predatory loans then find a career that doesn't require such loans. Don't tell me nobody can make a living without college either, that's some millennial bs line from the moron playbook if there ever was one. College is seriously over rated in probably 60% of cases anyway.

It really is over pushed and overrated, thanks schools and parents!

I agree with you 100% on this. This pissed me off big time! I've built my business over the last 25 years. I'm not rich, but very comfortable. I don't want my blood, sweat and tears to go to some idiot who got in way over their head because they wanted to go to a fancy School. They can pay their own bill. This is why I voted for Trump , because I knew what the left, liberal agenda was. I voted on policies, not because I like one guy and not the other.

Agreed!

U.S. President Donald Trump has called on NATO member states to reach the target sooner. Aside from the United States, which spends about 3.5 percent of GDP on defense, only Britain, Poland, Greece and Estonia currently meet the target.

Yes plenty of trade schools, certificates, and personal businesses do not need college education. If you do attend college, go to JC and then (if you go past AA 2 year degree) where you can afford...it's more about what you learned and how you apply yourself with your KSB (knowledge, skills and abilities) than where you went!

I know of friends kids that went to Yale or some other ivy league school For business just to say they went to that school. What kills me is the parents actually paid for it, some by taking out a loan or second mortgage on their house. Effing idiots!

I personally found jobs that offered tuition reimbursement. I also worked full time, and went to school part-time until I finished, which obviously took longer than normal. It landed an okay career, but if I had it to do over again now that the tech industry has went to shit, I may have stuck with operating heavy equipment which was my previous occupation.

After graduating from university, I also tried to find a job that offered tuition compensation. It turned out to be quite difficult to do this, because in the year of my graduation there were a lot of teachers who occupied vacant places at universities throughout the country. Therefore, I had to work freelance and at one time I wrote various written assignments on the site https://assignmentbro.com/us/assignment-writing-services This site is very cool because there are really professionals in their field working here. which can help students in writing their studies as qualified as possible.

I might be biased here, but many jobs in the military, particularly the Navy, offer this exact thing. They send you to school to do a job (electronics, machining, welding, mechanic, etc...), you go to your first duty station, normally a ship or sub, and you get experience by applying your craft. Along the way you covert your training and experience into documented education. While I was in I earned two degrees through tuition assistance, and I am using my GI Bill to get my third now. The degrees I got while I was in cost me a trivial amount out of pocket; the degree I am working on now is 100% paid for.

Pretty sure this is a SPAM account. Do you also wipe your ass then take a dump?

Wooo.... Wait a sec, you DON'T wipe before dropping the duce? I always do, I don't want my shit to get dirty....

As far as I know, I have been reading the amount of people who will be eligible for forgiveness is few, as you'll need to hit your target for forgiveness by 2025 via income contingent plans. .. So unless you started decades ago, you're out of luck. Sounds good when selling the plan with no real heavy hitting relief, as per usual. I have read here https://bricta.com/can-you-transfer-student-loans-to-another-person/ that you can transfer student loans to another person. Anyone did it?

I think I have said it somewhere in this thread, but it bares repeating...

If the government determined that over the next ten years our nation was going to face a shortage of a critical skillset (mechanical engineers, pipe fitters, industrial welders, etc...), then I could see paying for their education to encourage people to go into that field. But, paying for someone to get a degree in the liberal arts, not no, but HELL NO...!

Do I get Mortgage Forgiveness up to 300,000? Or even 80,000?

1st, it would be a violation of the 14th Amendment (which is a different convo on its own IMHO) to give government funds to a subset of "Citizenry" while denying them to the rest of the Citizenry. That's just a starter.
It also violates the 4th Amendment not to mention the 9th and 10th. But nearly everything the Feral Federal Government does is a Clear and Open Violation of both the 9th and 10th Amendments. Starting with the 11th (that Other Convo I mentioned previously).

Come again..:?::roll:...you prefer less "educated" folks in medical care to spare a few bucks ?? Awesome "thumbsup"

No matter the degree, the cost of education and the quality of the education rarely are proportional.

Colleges are a scam.

Most should ask for a refund.

"College", or the necessity of it, is an illusion sold by the colleges. They have sold this illusion to the employers, to the parents, the students, and the banks. And when the dust settles, the colleges are the only ones with the money, with the rest either owing it or being owed.

Of course, I say this right in the middle of getting my third degree. As much I see the myth in this illusion, the fact remains that if I am going to have any upward mobility in my current career, I need that piece of paper that says I have more education. This is, of course, in spite of having over 30 years of experience in the field.

However, getting back to the main theme of this thread... At the end of this educational road, I will be without debt for any of these degrees. The first two were paid for while I was active duty. The one I am currently working on is giving me a nice monthly bump in cash. So, if you want to get "educated", there are ways of doing it that do not require massive debt.
