Hey Chris Ive been to miwok and it is a great spot. Let me know when a GTG is, if there is one. I would like to meet up with you to crawl someday. I was just out there on Tuesday it was a little cold but that didnt stop me.

I'd like to arrange a get-together down there, a easy place to meet up is at the Tides Restaurant.

I had some fun on my lunch break today in San Rafael.....some park down off Lucas Valley Road......

I think it is McGuiness park (sp)? They have golfing, tennis cours, skate park, etc.

Directions..
From hwy101 South...exit Lucas Valley RD....turn right at the light and go all the way down(heading east on lvr), until you come to the park entrance...There is a golfcourse and park area. I made a left just before entering the golfing area and followed the signs to the tennis courts/skate park and just stumbled upon these rocks!!

No problem, in fact I'm scouting out some pretty interesting locations straight up the road. More pics to come.

Once I finish my rig - I'll let you know. The holidays slow progress, you know how it is...

Halloween: (Done)
Thanksgiving: (due shortly)
Christmas: (pending)

And then there's loosing a part here and there in the garage (only to find it a week later).

I've estimated around Dec for a finish date - it's a slow build. But - I'm learning as I go and doing quite a bit of suspension and exterior modifications at the same time.

I'm sure I should read up on all those other threads out there who probably did the same regarding mods so I could learn from their mistakes - but oh well. At least I'm having fun building it.

Sounds like under the 101 was off the hook yesterday!

Do you guys think it's doable to host a comp there? Was there enough dry rocks for 3 courses?
