Ok, We've got the Folsom Comp this weekend. I've got a GP race next weekend. When's Turkey day? You guys wanna set something up for Sunday, the 23rd?

a little crawlin today

well me and CRAWLIN 4 FUN went out for.. what else!! a little crawlin..
so we set out to the beach.. Miwok to be exact..
but that didnt quite work out so well..
we still dont see much to crawl on but a few big rocks in a spread out area....
not after 5min on this rock, now lets move to another and so on...


soo, its off to Bodega head..
always nonstop crawlin... except for a battery change..
even through out a few ax cones. ( oh i heard Brian has some of these cones) to makes things a litter harder....

Yes I was on my lid but you had to be there to understand there was this wave that hit the rocks and sprayed me with salt water and I could not see the fine line to make that one gate. Like they say you just blink and that was all it takes.

Interesing, just a couple of months ago, all I heard about Bodega Head is that it was "too rocky" and "too hard on the trucks" due to the sharp rocks shredding tires. I've also heard about under the 101 as being "too rocky" (?) and "too dirty" (???)
I posted pictures from Miwok beach as an alternative to where we've been before (duh.) Just somewhere different, which it is. There are 17 (yes, 17) miles of shoreline to choose from, and of course no one place is going to be perfect, so it will take bit of work.(also known as WALKING.) to access these places.
A good crawl spot does'nt just jump out of nowhere and bit you on the ass, a little exploring never killed anybody, and i'm sorry I ever said anything.

Ok! all spots that offer any sort of crawling should be shared with others. Ya never know when the spot might offer a fun alternative to what we've all been doing ....

So, back to the business at hand ... FOLSOM COMP THIS SUNDAY! The weather looks good, cloudy but no rain. So, plan your attack! Bryan's got ax cones, so I'm riding with him .... not sure what time we're leaving, but we'll be there early I'm sure.

Is the club style comp on the 23 going to be at the 101? I wish I could make it to the folsom comp but not this time. Good luck to everyone that is going

but taking the family down to Pismo for the Land Cruiser Surf 'N Turf event should be a good time.
