And just for completeness.
To convert inches to mm, multiply the inches by 25.4
To convert mm to inches, divide the mm by 25.4

2.5 x .45 tap drill is off.. Should be 2.05mm

Nominal - pitch gives tap.

x2, but i got a pocket size tap drill charts i have been using

.039 = 1mm so it's easy to do some quick metric conversions.
